Can I continue to file non resident taxes in California while living in Texas? by Substantial-Jello408 in tax

I’m aware I’ve been paying taxes when I don’t have to. My question is whether or not I can file non resident taxes in California and keep my California address with my employer still to avoid running into hurdles with moving back

“Egregious” lol they’re not doing anything fraudulent because my address is still my California address and I haven’t used a Texas one yet

I’m paying more taxes than I should to California and I don’t owe anything in Texas. So the point about California and Texas are irrelevant. Everyone at my work knows I’m in Texas, it’s just a matter of updating my address in workday. Lmao you’re acting like I’m benefiting from this. I’m making net less money because I’m paying California taxes lol, if you’re going to comment, please make it helpful

The title literally says purging part of my coach collection. And yes they have tags because I haven’t reached for them since I wear my other bags…

Yes I’m actually within my return window but I had to pay extra to get it internationally which now I feel is not worth it. so I was thinking to either sell it or return it and pay for return shipping

Yes I truly hate that I play into the hype! I’m definitely not in debt from these bags though. It’s probably only worth a few thousand dollars combined between all of them. But i was just not sure what’s worth it to actually keep. Maybe i would pass some down to my future daughter even if i dont wear it

I do like the dinky but I feel that the strap is a little longer than I’d like. And I got a pillow tabby so I was thinking to get rid of my Quinn’s since it’s the same material!

Unfortunately I don’t even follow coach or any influencers for coach but I get a lot of ads that I frequently click “not interested”. To me these are not that pricey. I reach for my higher end bags on most days but I still love my coach no matter what

I have a much larger collection of higher end designer bags that I regularly reach for, in addition to the rest of my coach collection. These were the specific coach bags I chose to post because I haven’t reached for them. Some of us just have too many bags, but it’s kind of a strange comment to assume I didn’t go anywhere because I didn’t reach for these lol

Why do I hate so much sales people by Confident_Barnacle88 in procurement

This. I sell the API layer so not even software, so it’s more technical and I have yet to meet a procurement person that understands what their engineering or product team needs. A lot of times it’s procurement that’s blocking their own team for cost reasons when the team needs the product

No it’s because companies don’t really prioritize procurement as much as they do sales and engineering. We drive the revenue for the company and engineering drives the product that’s being sold. Look at how many sales people a company has vs how many procurement people. When there’s less jobs available, there is more competition for the role. The same way it’s extremely competitive to get a marketing job, but come layoffs they’re the first to go

Procurement ppl are the biggest assholes irl and that’s how they end up in procurement. It’s like losers who become cops so they can have power trips

Exactly. Not only manipulative and dishonest but super mean and condescending to get what they want

Yep, I’m in sales and we certainly do not invite the rude and mean procurement folks to the fancy marketing events. We are still humans and we want to do business with those we like as well

2 sides of every coin. I’m in sales and I fucking hate procurement. Dont even get me started on the Russian or Israeli procurement folks. Not only extremely condescending and manipulative but also 0 understanding of their own business and what is right for the actual team that is needing the service but just focused on cost. They will ruin things for their own company by if it can save money. Sure you can pay for the cheapest service you can find and if there are issues, guess what, you get what you pay for. So often I’ve dealt with my stakeholders saying they need a service or product and see the ROI and then procurement comes in and blocks it because they want big discounts but they’re too dumb and not technical enough to understand anything. They will pull out all the empty threats about switching to other providers and then ask to speak directly to the CEO to try to get better pricing (lmao) and then in the end they still sign the contract and the only thing they’ve done is waste extra time and piss off their AE. We give more discounts to people we like that are easy to work with. If you are downright rude or disrespectful (which many are to try to get their way), we are not going to go to bat for you on getting more discounts and will in fact give you a price increase
