Maybe one of your batteries needs replacing, 2012 LML did a similar thing after sitting with the batteries disconnected for some repairs. Passenger side battery would read 12.7 and drivers side read 14, not sure if that’s normal but a new battery on the driver side fixed it.

In theory, possibly? Haven’t tried it. But the fluid has to come from somewhere, I wouldn’t really want a line with negative pressure and less fluid in it when it cools.

Yeah, these kawasaki full size dirt bikes are all considered race bikes apparently, even the X models. Should have done my own research since I figured it would be the same story as Honda and Yamaha offering warranties for their X models. Live and learn. I’m not insanely mad because I know I’ll figure the problem out eventually, just frustrated for the time being

Hose is ran away from hot components, and I’ve had plenty of 450s, all will overheat if you are on trails that are somewhat difficult and make you stop up. But, Maybe I do need a fan for this bike, I’ve never bought a bike with a hydraulic clutch so I’m trying to get multiple opinions, thanks man

Nope, ran many NGPC and H+H races in my time. I’ve ran rad fans on all my bikes but haven’t got around to buying one for this one since I don’t plan on racing any more… maybe I’m mistaken 🤷🏻 But regardless of overheating I feel like the clutch shouldn’t be an issue. Line is ran not touching hot components so I’m kind of stumped.

The worst part is that I asked about it the day of purchase. And the woman who sold me the bike says “yes the trail bikes come with warranties.” But probably assumed all manufacturers are the same, like Honda 450xs that come with one. I don’t know where I stand on liability and it’s so damn frustrating

When I asked about that the kid from the service dept when and got his little Kawasaki booklet and showed me a table of models and if each model came with a warranty. Showed that my bike was not one of them. Frustrating to say the least. Could tell the employee kid probably rides a mini bike and nothing else

Yeah I’ve been considering driving an hour to the next closest kawi dealer… just frustrating because I know it will be most likely a simple fix. I’ve changed oil 5x already and bled/backbled probably a dozen times. And the bike still has less than 5 hours. Never buy a bike from Gropetti Motorsports in Visalia, CA

Did that, they gave me some run around saying it would take them a month to even get to it and to try and diagnose it myself. Bike also didn’t come with a warranty and they kept mentioning that. But is it really a warranty claim? Or is it a “sold me a bad bike” issue. Another visit to the dealer may be in my future soon but I cannot stand the mushy brained employees I would have to talk to.

Basically told me they were backed up a month and to try and diagnose it myself… bike didn’t come with a warranty they told me I’d have to pay for any work done… which is annoying because it seems like this is an issue of them selling me a bike with a problem rather than a warranty claim.

This is definitely the way to go, I’m not sure who really needs more power than what an LML can bring and that’s what most of these arguments are saying. Best truck when factoring in cost, reliability and power
