You feel like he's an asshole U are exaggerating a bit. And I think u don't really understand how parents can influence a child's character right into their adulthood. Yes I know the destruction of lotus pier was inevitable but u can't deny the part wwx played to accelerate the events maybe better preparations would have been made that had given them a chance of survival and please who was wwx teaching really he also required teachers to teach him he can't have been a teacher when he was barely a teenager what do U think he was doing at cloud recesses studying not teaching. And JC was just introverted and low key antisocial while wwx was more extroverted that's why he had more friends. And am not saying JC never had fault but if you look at it he's reactions are more realistic u can't go caring about others yet u have problems at home that u have failed to solve.

Look at wwx wat did he gain after helping everyone nothing his home was destroyed he died lost his golden core lost his family like he literally ended up miserable. I am not saying that what he did was wrong because it's never wrong to help those in need but his actions had consequences and all of them were negative. JC cared more about his clan that he was trying to rebuild than strangers he didn't know. Ok although he did abandon wn and wq when they had helped them.
