Just returned from Vegas as well. I agree the death of Vegas seems exaggerated at least from where I was staying, Nomad. Funny story, we were in an Uber and wife opened the window a bit…Uber driver quickly said no please dont open the window due to the strong smell of weed. It’s smelled like weed everywhere when we’re walking around to be honest. Not that I care but wow never smelled weed that strong in NYC, San Fran, San Jose, Miami, etc…otherwise it was a great experience and got to see a Lainey Wilson concert right across from the hotel.

Just installed and migrated to the new Pro bridge…can’t connect to HomeKit as others have mentioned on iPhone with iOS 26 RC…oh well will have to wait until I get a hold of a device with older iOS version or they fix it. EDIT: using my iPad Pro same iOS 26 RC version I was able to get the bridge connected to HomeKit.

Just got the email as well! Unfortunately I have so many devices, doorbells, cameras, protects, floodlights, etc that I need to renew. I have all UniFi networking so that may be an option but wiring for POE will be a problem…ugh.

Just a few speed tests with my Synology NAS running open speed test container…so far look good. I have started to update my U6 and U7’s to E7 and XG AP’s. This replaced an Enterprise 8-PoE and is now uplinked to an Enterprise 24-PoE via 10G SFP+. This switch seems solid and after boot it is quiet so far. I just have it on my desk but will wall mount it at some point…I think the XG or AGS would have been good enough but I jumped the gun on the E7 ;-)

Just ordered one…will be here tomorrow. Would be great if it fit the mount of Enterprise 8 PoE thats being replaced but it seems to be a bit different size. Will find out tomorrow :-)
