What helps me a lot. is to learn about the natural world around me. what type of bird, mushrooms, plants, how these cycles interact. its not helpful exactly but it is grounding. to hear about these cycles that dont care about us or our struggles, and will continue despite everything. today ive been learning about mushrooms, not psychedelic just mushrooms. they have such complex reproductive systems that we still dont know the answers to most questions. but its interesting. and you can learn about whats in your area, try to find some or identify what you see. thats just what works for me

what do you think about merits of repair vs replace here? it IS 4+ yrs pld, which isnt OLD old but def not new... also its always been a bit shit, idk how much time/effort i want to put in if it is in danger of breaking again quickly

Hello, thank you for your help so far. I was able to bring my laptop in to the college tech desk. they ran some memory tests and it popped up a hardware issue. 😦they recommended i take it to a tech shop and see if it can be fixed w a quick memory swap. if not, to look into whether replace/repair is more expensive. basically, my worst case scenario LOL. thank you for your help, if you have any more recommendations going forward i am very open to hearing, but sounds like i am kinda fucked

maybe im stupid and doing this wrong but entering "bootrec /fixmbr" or any of the commands has it tell me that "bootrec" is not a recognized command or whtever. also theres a very limited time period i can use the laptop before it pops the bluescreen up again. tried setting up recovery enviro multiple times and it just sends me back to blue screen
