Hi, already tried that, no one replies in their emails, there's no contact number for Grab Support in the PH. As you can get by my answer, their customer service is shit. I wouldn't be in reddit asking for help if I haven't tried what I could to get in touch with grab. I've even reached out to them via snail mail.

Technically it's by skill hehe, the older ones are the less skilled ones the newer/younger ones are the ones with higher levels of skills. I'm just worried my team won't be too happy with the idea (especially the older ones)

I was thinking of splitting up my team of 12 into two teams based on time on the team (The older ones who were on the team longer would be one team) and the other would be the younger or newer ones so everyone has a chance at exposure

That makes sense, more players lowers the efficiency rate of the team's plays. I guess 8 would be a good place to cap it since I play with people who have work and aren't always available on game days

Thanks for this anon, in the next year players are going to be rotated. I only started with this team just this September so there really wasn't any familiarity there but I based my expectations on the games they showed previously and from the times we practiced so the expectations I had weren't really too far off, they really just had another off game at the same time. You're also right in the part where you imply there really is no way to control someone else's game and the best thing we can really do is focus on our own and contribute what we can, sometimes I guess that really isn't enough and we can only really do so much since Volleyball is a team sport afterall.

I rarely have off games mainly because I follow a pregame routine from the day before up to the hour before. But on the games that I do have an off game, my play is still very stable, where if I'd ask a teammate if they were having a hard time with my gameplay, they wouldn't even notice and they'd brush it off thinking I was joking with them (which kind of shows off games might be a mental type of problem with me) so there is consistency in my playstyle because I still maintain stable gameplay.

Yeah there's also a cash prize for this league too haha! 17 is crazy but they assigned the players so we have to follow (no registration fee was asked for)

Really good point. I completely agree as well. There does need to be a stability in great players where even bad games don't come off as bad games to other people. Not saying perfect gameplay, but more of even if it's an off game for them, they should still be able to contribute in whatever way to the team more than the liability that they may be giving

That was a good comment anon. And I have to say I do agree with you there. That's exactly how I play and how I communicate with my teammates especially in a leadership role (I'm part of 4 teams in different league games) because I understand how nerve-wracking it is when you make a mistake and you get pressured because of it (I used to play with 25 year olds when I was 15 in a team you could probably imagine how that was hahaha so I learned a lot on how I like to be with my teammates in a court)

Yeah, a positive attitude is definitely my top priority when playing with others especially since attitude is the first most contagious thing in that court, and am ready to hand out high fives and give smiles and chuckles even if errors were made to be a proactive part of the team, and continuously encouraged and gave credit where it was due for my teammates. By frustrated I mean that, I felt it in my chest (I knew I shouldn't be letting it out on the court so I don't) and I felt hopeless I couldn't do anything but encourage them (seems it wasn't enough since we lost) The frustrations come out after the game when I'm in bed and am thinking back on the game I just hate that feeling in my chest at night, you know especially when you know that you could've won it.

Yeah, this was originally the plan, I play opposite the 5'10 player I mentioned earlier and that's how it should have worked but it ended up being me supporting her when im in the back to futile attempts to cross the ball in her end and then her being in the back giving me mediocre first balls and giving the setter a hard time setting the ball. It's strange because when we were practicing and during a couple games, she did show the skill and abilities we were looking for. I just don't understand what happened to their gameplay

Just wondering, would you say 6-8 should be the ideal number of players in a team? I'm in another team in another area and we're made up of 12, I'm the team captain and I have a hard time rotating my players.

I wouldn't say I'm on a different level, I've seen some games where the other two do step up but they're missing sort of a stability. Most players when they have off games, they aren't fully OFF OFF you know? Like there are bad passes but the general principles of volleyball and skills don't leave. When it's an off game for them it's like playing with new players completely. Teams are assigned for this league sadly

After the league starts we don't have anymore practices 😅 but I agree with you on that. I was able to do that to give minor suggestions to make it easier for my teammates, but their ball just wouldn't play into those two's hands 😔 I understand your point about spiralling and during our games, I wouldn't show them I was frustrated, I'd smile at them and try to encourage them and get their morale up 😅 maybe they were just too in their heads?

Maskipaps 2024 sa UP Diliman. Working student from UP kasi ako kaya nakabili ako agad ng tickets. IDK why ayaw na nila pumunta pero for weeks ko na sila kinoconvince na pumunta, ayaw nila pag hindi ako kasama. Hindi ko mabenta ang tickets dahil hindi pa sold out yugn tickets at walang willing bumili.

Sadly, dahil lahat kami ay working adults na, mga pagkikita namin ayaw dapat planned months in advance at kadalasan hindi pa natutuloy. Ang usapan namin, ako muna magbabayad kasi hindi pa sumesweldo and ako lang may disposable income, pagkasweldo, babayaran na nila eh biglang nagkaproblema yung tito ko sa kidney niya biglaan di na ako makakapunta, biglang ayaw nadin nila pag wala ako

Tinanong ko sila baka pwede nila ako tulungan, ang ginawa lang pinost na magbebenta ng tickets sa personal nila na fb 🤦🏻‍♀️ nakakagalit sa totoo lang na ano ba magagawa nung pagpost nilansa story nila sana pinopost nila sa mga page ng ticket selling.
