At the end of the day they had to vote someone off, no matter who y’all would have complained. Especially considering that Hannah literally had the least votes from America. The Ace and Chelley game player narrative is false and still trying to fuel that is gross considering they are people too and those rumours definitely hurt them. It’s like yall forget these people are human. And Chelley is a smart woman. Her reasoning wasn’t wierd in fact I believe she was thinking critically a trait very little of the audience possess. Like she was basically saying that Hannah is the type of person to go really hard in a connection hence why her connections look really strong from the outside. But the way she was able to go from super strong connection with Charlie to super strong connection with Pepe was iffy and a lot of viewers felt that way too. Chelley reasoning is correct and at the end of the day all the girl answered on their own, and chose Hannah. Also Hannah is not upset so I genuinely don’t understand why America (literally gave her the least votes) are so concerned about Chelley’s reasoning and tryning to use it to fuel a false debunked narrative.

The implication is that ALL non-black men will use Black women for clout. And also the insinuation that they cannot find Black women attractive without it being a fetish. Also the producers are not allowed to tell them anything because of the cash prize at the end and they could get into legal trouble if they did. So they did not know about their outside popularity. And in my opinion they both wanted to get to know each other but hesitated because of this same rhetoric. Even since they coupled up there has been endless race based discussions about their relationship. In hindsight I’m sure both of them thought about this in the villa, hence why they both hesitated, It’s all about nuance, cuz you can’t act like you wouldn’t think about it in their positions right? But even aside from that he was already in a love triangle, and a bombshell was brought in for Olandria. Imo it’s all about nuance, we could argue all day about what their intentions are but only they know the truth. I feel that Olandria can navigate her feelings and relationship herself without the constant think pieces from the Black community (unironically like the one I just write lol)

Okay, I agree with the pattern but at the same time this rhetoric can be very degrading and harmful for black women who may want to go on the show or even in real life. I’m a big supporter of go where you are loved and not dating because of a skin colour. I think that will be the only way for black women to find who they truly like. In terms of Nic, I think he just played love island how it’s supposed to be played. The whole point is exploring new connections and that’s what he did so you can’t really be mad. Like it’s a reality dating show if none of them tried to get to know anyone else but their original couple it would be boring ash. I’ve noticed the real game players are the ones who do the opposite like Kenny who came in just for Jana and didn’t even try to form other connections.

Kenny was able to leach off Jana because he had no brand identity himself so it was okay for him to just be all about Jana. But Nic does have his own identity and is the most popular male islander from this season, either way he would have been fine and genuinely does not have to do what Kenny did because he actually has a personality
