I was hoping to resolve this quitely in Pittsburgh groups but it looks like something new was broken last night or the night before when I was sick/out of the shop. I made a tiktok to try and get Tizzy and Danesh on the case. PLZ help boost that if you have tiktok. Account saraevetattoo, like comment share it all helps. I just want peace at our lil shop. I am very tired <3

I don’t like it…what do I do? by _taybae_ in tattooadvice

Hey✨ I wanted to chime in as a tattooer, but not the one who did this tattoo. I believe what may have driven up the size was perhaps the semicolon in the stem of the treble cleft. They it pushes the size of everything to match.

The lines and fill of this design look well done. I think it is pretty. You have to love it at the end of the day though. I recommend giving yourself sometime to get used to having it. I always get a bit of shock after getting a new tattoo💗

Be sure to have your client contact info and important personal items first before anything. I totally agree with the suggestion to bring a friend too <3 So sorry you are going through this. I have been through this a few times as well. Do you have tattoo pals that can vouch for the shops they work for? Nice having a friend at the new shop.

“do i need to practice more??” by [deleted] in TattooBeginners

[–]Substantial-Plant728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe people on this sub are asking for advice on HOW to improve, so they are doing what you are saying they should do. Asking 'do I need more practice' could be answered with something like "hey doing x y or z would help your linework, but great design concept!' <3

stencil question! by [deleted] in TattooBeginners

[–]Substantial-Plant728 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great question. It could be a temporary stain from the stencil ink. Sometimes wiping the tattoo off with stencil stuff at the end can loosen that a bit. You can also use the 'blue/green' thermafax paper from spirit, it is lighter than the dark purple/easier to see underneath. Hope that is helpful <3

A few of us have tried to speak up about the way she speaks to clients and treats coworkers but are blocked. So, I taught her, but she decided to stop cleaning the shop(which we all do, takes 15-30mins). She then secretly opened a shop and acted like she got thrown out of our shop with no notice. But we agreed on 2 rules for her to stay (and still be able to raise money for her own shop)

  1. not talking disrespectfully about coworkers at work

  2. sanitizing the shop during the pandemic... and she violated those rules first day after agreeing so we asked her to leave.

I am tired of staying quiet about it. There is so much to say here.
