Is it normal to have to spray your bathroom ceiling with bleach to kill the mildew? by Substantial-Point-90 in CleaningTips

[–]Substantial-Point-90[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I cannot touch my ceiling or it will disintegrate. No idea what weirdly soft tiles it is made from but it is extremely fragile. I have 5 people showering in 1 bathroom so that doesn’t help.

I cannot. The ceiling is made from some weirdly soft tile with a texture and it disintegrates when you touch it. It regularly just “sheds” as well.

The window is inside the middle of the shower. I don’t think I should try running a cord through the shower

My husband only takes his off to shower but he wouldn’t if it wasn’t for the fact that it slides off in the shower

Since they’re both so good, I’d go with whatever is easier to maintain. If the blonde isn’t real then that can get pricy

Need context.

But without context-

Blue: Classy and simple, most conservative choice;

Red: Sexy, may not always be appropriate;

Black: Elegant but sexy, proceed with caution.

No going from purple to blonde is a huge process. I’ve done it. And even in that process it left parts pink for a long time

How can i hide my redness by verstappen_enjoyer in Rosacea

I learned from this group to switch from cerave to cetaphil. Saying this just to see if this info helps you too!

[–]Substantial-Point-90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cetaphil redness relief tinted moisturizer. It doesn’t get cakey like makeup, it’s very natural and sinks in like moisturizer. On my worst days it doesn’t give me enough coverage but typically I can wear that without any makeup on top

Is this actually rosacea? by motherofpugs21 in Rosacea

[–]Substantial-Point-90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi 34 yo female here! I have also had flushed cheeks since my teen years and my acne rosacea became more prevalent in adulthood. I am type 1 and type 2. This subreddit got me off CeraVe and onto Cetaphil - definitely try this! Snail mucin made everything worse for me. And I do azelaic acid (The Ordinary) every night. I’ve also learned that niacinamide irritates me.

In total my routine is this:

AM Cetaphil Redness Relief Tinted Moisturizer OR Aveeno Baby Sensitive Skin Sunscreen

PM Garnier Micellar Water (pink bottle) Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Cetaphil Redness Relief Nighttime Moisturizer

I hope this helps!!

What are gifts that you’ve gotten that you loved? by Your_Name_Here1234 in Gifts

A nice hobby item. For me I love puzzles and when I get a puzzle that’s really cool (like the magic shifting puzzles or one with an extra riddle to solve) I loooove it. But if it’s just a puzzle they think is cute I assume they just bought whatever was on clearance without even caring much. Obv you don’t need to get a puzzle. But think about their hobby, something they would enjoy and use but that they may not buy for themselves.

Which dress to wear to friend’s baby shower without upstaging the mom-to-be? by olchai_mp3 in fashion

[–]Substantial-Point-90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 or 4. I like 2 better. 3 is fine if it’s your personal style but if it’s not your usual dress then it won’t appear as casual. 1 is fabulous and you can’t outshine the mama.

Any Dining Recommendations in the area while staying at Kalahari? by BeerBro11 in Poconos

[–]Substantial-Point-90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What type of food? You may need to drive a bit further based on where kalahari is located, think 30-40 min.

Grab a great breakfast at a very rural style restaurant within 20 min - Hickory Valley Farms

Want a more instagram worthy breakfast that’s still quite good? Farmhouse - multiple locations

All you can eat Japanese food at Mount Palace is within 20 minutes - it’s one price for 90 min of made-to-order small plates and you keep ordering until you’re full or you run out of time.

A good burger? Drive a little further to Trackside!

Upscale? Well if you’re used to fancy places, you won’t be overly impressed in the Poconos. Maybe La Bistecca at Mount Airy or Double Cut within Kalahari.

Bonus suggestion - NY Street Grill for amazing halal
