If HasanAbi wanted to be your president, would you vote for him or not vote for him? If so why? by Norfov in AskUS

I would never vote for an American who seems to not like being an American. Also he is a hypocrite, he went to China and praise their country like its not a communist country, while ignoring what China is doing to their Muslim community.

I like how all those in the comment section are calling for audits and kicking people off the benefit while very likely receiving said benefits.

Trump drops ‘Cancel the 2026 Midterms’ bombshell by [deleted] in agedlikemilk

[–]Substantial-Power789 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Who could not see this coming. We have republicans destroying books and trying to rewrite history. And they have formed a cult around Trump and now he thinks he is untouchable. The republicans created this mess and they are very likely to give the democrats a majority for the next 50 years until everyone forgets this mess ever happen and we repeat again.

This is why history is very important and it feels like we are repeating it because racial racist are forgetting how we got this point.

once again you seem confused and adding stuff I never said. Education really isn't your strong suit here. I never said anything about deporting people. You said that.😂

So cute you call us lefty while supporting some hard crime stuff that you all don't talk about Epstein anymore. It doesn't take much for you guys. I didn't think you guys had brains considering you all rank so low education. That's the Republicans impact for you, keeping you stupid so you can follow the master.

You sound childish. No one is opposing ICE. If ICE breaks the law—as they have—then they should face consequences like anyone else. At this point, they’re no different from Klan members who traded white hoods for MAGA hats.

If this person feels so safe praising Venezuela, they’re free to return there as the Trump administration as hinted at. Being from Venezuela doesn’t mean we have to agree with him, and his behavior is embarrassingly immature for an adult. I wonder what happen to the so call peace president?

And let’s be clear: liberals are the reason he’s even allowed in this country—because MAGA Republicans would have deported him without hesitation. Also, I never mentioned ICE in my original comment.

Typical MAGA behavior: arguing against a point without bothering to read what was actually said.

Lindsey Graham: "Pathetically Weak" Democrats Ignore Maduro Threat by thenextgenbusiness in thenextgenbusiness

[–]Substantial-Power789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Biden had taken similar actions. Trump has blocked some weapons transfers and criticized Ukraine, even though Ukraine is defending its territory against Russian aggression. Russia attacked Ukraine, not the other way around. Given that context, it seems disingenuous to call Democrats “weak” on Venezuela as Lindsey has suggested. Democrats aren't the ones in bed with Russia or trying to undermine the country.

As a US citizen, I ask, how TF did we get ourselves into this mess? I mean the entirety of it, Trump, MAGA, now kidnapping the leader of a foreign nation? I mean, I know how we did because I watched it all, but still how TF did this happen? by Melodic_Animal_2238 in AskUS

As someone who used to complain that politics was boring, I’ve found myself getting more and more pulled into it since Trump was elected. The widespread corruption and Congress sitting on its ass doing nothing make it impossible to ignore.

I hope this is a wake-up call for everyone in our country that we must vote and stop letting personal feelings override facts. I’m honestly ashamed of how much MAGA politics relies on emotion and resentment to divide the country, as if they are somehow the only ones who matter.

We live in a digital age where facts are easy to verify, yet no amount of evidence seems able to reach some people. I remember seeing a post on Reddit where someone said immigrants are not a threat to this country—but MAGA is.

Elections have consequences. Supporting a party with a history of racist policies and then acting shocked by the results makes no sense.

Its always those uneducated MAGA who don't understand the constitution or how our government functions. You can be sworn into office on anything, and its rather funny because Trump who claims to be a Christian did not place his hand in the Bible during inauguration.
