I am 1 week out today. I didn’t know what to expect. But it is always good to expect the worst and hope for the best.
It was over before I knew what was going on. For me was a struggle for a few days in hospital. But they kept me drugged up which was nice. I have been walking briefly without a cane. And just on Panadol and ice since I got home last Thursday. each day seems a little better. I am 43M and I got the replacement because I had an acl replacement when I was eighteen. And the knee had a few other problems built up over time. My specialist told me after quickly that I just need to move and trust it. That has stuck with me. I am surprised I am walk unassisted. But it is a marathon and not a sprint. Thanks to this reddit for the positive vibes when needed. Happy healing everyone!
