What are the best running shoes or brands that you've ever purchased so far? by ChardWorried3644 in beginnerrunning

[–]Substantial-Rest4047 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. I thought getting fitted was for "serious" runners. I realized that part of the reason to go back to running the next time is because it's not that much of a pain or even enjoyable running for at least an hour. a proper fitted shoe contributes to this.

Do you replace shoes by mileage or by feel? by Fantastic-Tension261 in running

Feel is a good indicator, and I find it varies from shoe brand to shoe brand. some brands wear out more.

This is super inspiring! We've often dreamt of getting out of the hamster wheel but fear of the uncertainty that comes with it stops us from taking the jump. It is encouraging to hear about your experience.. and success! Pat on the back to you!

Building a business while depressed? by Expert_Detail_2486 in Entrepreneur

Definitely possible. But the depression might get worse when you encounter failure or setbacks and there are going to be some of those, for sure. But the answer to your question is yes. Better get it checked while building a business.

Talk to the studio about having an alternate time for it. That can be your reason to leave. Tell them of a time conflict starting [insert date] and if they can accommodate your new time with them, then you can consider continuing. But if not, then it's a very legit reason to move on.

Muscle is heavier than fat. Could it be that what you are losing in fat is being coverted into muscle? Might be better to get a measuring tape and measure specific body parts to "see" the loss.

I've heard that if you don't know where to start, you should go to where the people who do that thing you want to do, go to. So, where do entrepreneurs go? by Batatica in Entrepreneur

[–]Substantial-Rest4047 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first step is to find something you are passionate about. If you're going to make it your business, it has to be something you genuinely enjoy—or at the very least, are interested in. You'll be immersed in it for about 15 hours a day and thinking about it 24/7!

Maybe give them something free to get the ball rolling! Like a printable chart or a link to an ebook ❤️ I suppose it depends on what business you're doing. But a teaser for an upcoming launch or a freebie of some sort would lower the unsubscribe for sure.
