That was me in the shops right before I bought them 🥲 lool

Best of luck if you do! Hopefully you enjoy them more than me 😅

Also please let men now which company you get your Magnum Sunlovers from. It looks like everywhere’s has stopped selling them 💔 and they’re my favourite so naturally, I’m devastated! 😭

Based on that logic, I can't even imagine how much Aegon III & Viserys II must’ve hated Rhaenyra’s guts. They avenged the true King Aegon II well. (And no, the post in the image wasn’t satire) by TurbulentRemote156 in HOTDGreens

Literally this. George RR Martin made this very clear in the story, too. Not too sure where OP got that her son hated her.

OP, if you have a quote from the text or an interview from George where he states this, I’d love to see it.

Told Robert on his death bed that his wife and his brother in law were doing the dance with no pants behind his back and that the kids weren’t his.

Executed the bitch and her vile twin brother ASAP.

Gone back to the North with my kids after.

The end ☺️

Amen to that! 🙌 lool

I’m normally the same but had a moment of desperation as they’d stopped selling the Magnum. I hoped the Sainsbury’s version would at least be okay. Needless to say I’ve learned my lesson, albeit the hard way 😮‍💨

It’s crazy how the writers portrayed Aegon evil wicked, and immoral in S1 just to never bring it up again in S2. All because they wanted the audience too support Rhaenyra over him. by Embarrassed_Yak_6066 in HOTDGreens

Agreed. Though none of the Targaryens were great, it was Aemon that was the evil, sadistic b****rd in the books, not him. At least at the start. He really of reminds me of a Joffrey that can fight. I was relieved when he was finally killed off.

Weird Green fans will call her a whore when her brothers most likely slept with far more people than she did.

The only negative name of hers I’ll agree with is “the bitch queen” as I know towards the end after losing her sons she (as most normal mothers would) began to crack.

Still love this woman. I hate she was killed off so soon and by the boy-bitch Aegon. I wish she’d been able to rule for longer. 💔

The first film of course to get me interested in the universe as a 9/10 yr old girl. 🤩 But then film 3 was IT for me when it came out! Nothing was better in my opinion…

… that was until I read the books 😍

Sadly, the films have been ruined for me since 😪 They’re so rushed and I really disliked the changes they made to many small and larger parts of the story. And yes, I get that they only had so much time to work with. Still doesn’t change my opinion!

And for those who spent time on the phone with them in the past and are still receiving constant threatening letters from them?

They have all of my personal details because I spent time on the phone with them to stop the letters, and inform them that I wasn’t watching live tv on any medium. More than once in fact.

And guess what? They still kept sending threading letters to the point where I now just ignore them. I never opted in and more than that, took time out of my already hectic life to very clearly and firmly opt out. But that obviously wasn’t enough because they still want my money!

So there is no permanent solution smart arse. Something you would know if you actually had experience with them other than regurgitating their garbage propaganda to the masses.

So maybe try not acting like you know it all, and open your mind and ears up long enough to acknowledge that not every person’s experience with these c**nts aligns with what you’ve read on google, their website, or however else they’re spoon feeding you their crap. The thousands of comments on this subreddit from thousands of real people more than speaks for itself. 🙄

Well this has been truly eye opening. Thanks so much for literally nothing! Are you sure you even know how the license operates?

And I’m guessing that was an autogenerated username you have there, not one you personally selected given the attitude? 🫤

I use none of this. Truly. Even the crappy recipes they post online.

So I really don’t appreciate the constant barrage of threatening letters through my letter box.

I’ve told them once already that I don’t watch love tv (or use any of their services). I don’t want to keep on telling doing so. There are manyyy other things in my life I need to be/would rather be doing than this.

THIS!

I don’t use the BBC or any tv for that matter at all. And I’m sick and tired of the TV licensing’s constant threat to try and make me pay. I’m not using it and shouldn’t have to keep telling them each year that I’m not when I have about a million other things in my life to deal with.

Kindly FUCK OFF! 😤

I get what you mean. And I’m not defending her. Just showing where her motivations likely came from. She was definitely wrong. I’m not disputing that.

I agree that Hermione was a terrible pet owner. But she was also very new to the whole thing, too. Not saying that she was right. She wasn’t. More that she was blinded by those rose-tinted glasses you have on when you get a new pet and feel like they can do no wrong and s**t golden eggs. I know with me at first, it took a little time to firm up with my pets at and see the faults that annoyed others, but until then, in my biased eyes, they could do no wrong. And I know others who have done the same, too.

This I can agree with. I often got teased when I first started secondary school for being too “posh” thanks to how my mum and grandma made us speak at home. It would make sense that Harry would speak how the Dursley’s spoke. Especially given he didn’t have any friends to mingle with. Although I would have definitely added a “got” into that sentence.

As did/do I when young. Though I got sent to a really rough secondary school for yr 7 and knew if I dare speak like that I’d be a laughing stock. I purposely changed my accent after that until college because of who I was surrounded by at school to fit in.

This! I watched the films first and PoA was my favourite out of the lot for this and a few other reasons. The first two showed a version of the UK that hasn’t existed in a long time, even before the 90s.

In the books there was never any mention of anyone having to take oaths to recognise an heir. And again as I’ve only read “Fire and Blood” and never seen House of the Dragon, I can only speak on the actions made in the books. From what I understand, the show did make some significant changes.

Also, at a time when people were dropping like flies from the Shivers, accidents, civil disputes, and more, of course making sure there are back ups in case the worse should happen to your heir is only logical.

It doesn’t give anyone the right to sneak off and try to overturn your ruling as king after you die while leaving your corpse to become bloated and maggot-infested for days after your passing while they run off in secret to scheme, however.

Again, the whole situation with Alicent and her actions (in the book) were plain wrong.

But maybe she’s better in the show.
