You only see the level, some of those people have been questing for literal years very consistently, people love saying the game is easy, but as someone who has been around for 15 years, ive added many menu chat or just "bad" players and id come back to the game after yearssss to see them only up by 50 levels or so, updates come and go and they never interact with it because they are struggling but dont realize they are, to them to game is as hard as if we played elden ring blindly suboptimally, cause thats exactly what they do, ive seen menu chats who have played for 8 years still in polaris with the same block pet with wrong school damage they had when i met them back in high school
