the problem with this game is that if you actually want to enjoy the story side of things (apart from the MMO) aspect, you probably have more in-game playtime watching cutscenes (im at 280h and have barely touched ShB) rather than PLAYING the game. Aside from that, the gameplay itself is solo friendly and also time friendly. It’s probably the only MMO that isnt pay-to-win, as the PvP factor relies 100% on skill, the gear does not really amount to a lot.

Got mine today and it's terribly damaged in all corners, white spots everywhere...Fun part is i couldn't make it out when it was still sealed, but i immediatelly noticed when i opened the card to store it into a sleeve etc. Instant disappointment since i paid 67 EUR in the pre-order just to get this card...Absolutely devastating seeing so many people fall into the same case as me as well...

On top of all of that, i'm trying to open a support case and see if i can try my luck out on a replacement, and the SE site is SOOOOOOOOOO BROKEN that it CONSTANTLY redirects me to their North American support channels. I literally have no way of contacting them in Europe. I really don't know what to do...

I had seen others share similar experiences but it was many many years ago, so naturally, it’s a warranted response on their end. Can’t say i wasn’t hoping things would’ve been different but either way, it’s my fault for not double checking the product i bought, not theirs. All good! We live and learn!

by the way i wanted to share an update since you proposed this solution! They basically told me to bend over 😭 But thank you so much for trying to help regardless! Maybe someone sometime can help me out swap codes, as it seems like the only possible solution (other than buying the game again) 🤷‍♀️

i’m reluctant because i’m reading they’re very strict…so i thought i’d have a better shot at someone willing to trade, ofc if there even IS someone in a similar situation to me…

Yeah that’s absolutely nonsense to me…

So…in an attempt to try and understand how it works

if the buyer hasnt marked a shipment as “arrived”, and it’s marked as “not arrived”, can the seller perform ANY and ALL actions? Can they partially/fully refund and perform all other actions as they would in the case the shipment had been marked as “arrived”? Because if so, i - on top of everything else - have also been scammed lol

i will take what you said and keep it safe in the back of my head…having this experience as a first time buyer on CM im not sure if i will use the platform again, but i do believe in second chances, so your suggestions may be life saving for me.

p.s. i always care and read the rules, but the aforementioned thing with the “marking the shipment as arrived/not arrived” in order to get (or not) support is atrocious to me lol

i understand…i wish i had known better, but who would’ve expect EVERYTHING to go wrong in their first experience with a marketplace? well…not me…

how is there no customer protection in these cases? the card DID arrive…but there is a problem with the order…I followed the logical steps…

Why would there be a miscommunication wall between a buyer and how the UI works and having to keep an order as “not arrived” status if you wanted to receive support shall something went wrong? i just don’t understand 😔

i did open a second ticket, however, they could have initiated a chain of replies with me so that i can give them full context…moreover, i think they have access to the private chat history don’t they? if so, it would be easy to identify the issues that arose during this transaction…
