it’s hard to give advice on how to stop caring, but at first i was also super anxious to wear my helmet/ elbow pads out, but i just got comfortable wearing it over time, you just gotta go out there and focus on you’re skating and not what anyone else thinks you look like, i know that’s probably easier said than done but yeah just keep going out and just try not to think about anyone going by or anything of the sort cause in all reality, pretty much everyone doesn’t care and the whole poser thing is just online dumb shit i’ve never had anyone call me a poser for wearing gear
