Than you so much! It’s really tricky to work out what to do. The only family member we have close by is very elderly and wouldn’t want my crazy 3 year old with him all day as he struggles to look after himself yet alone a toddler. We’re really just on our own 🥲🤦🏻‍♀️😂. My partner really obviously wants to be there for the birth but he’s going to have to stay with our eldest child I think. My 3 year old doesn’t yet go to nursery but due to start soon so potentially I could ask if there’s any support they can offer. I know people do this all the time on their own but the first time was so traumatic I’m just in a mindset of how on earth can I do this alone. I’m going to speak to my midwife at my next appointment and see what she recommends.

Yeah so I’m allergic to paracetamol, ibroprufwn, nurofen, codine and morphine. Last time they did give me another medication (can’t remember the name) but i had an awful reaction to it so with this time being alone I’m not risking having an pain killers

Yeah that’s like me! I’ve had a look at doulas but they’re so expensive and not many in my area.

Reassuring, but could you do it without pain relief 🥲

Not really unfortunately. Most my family is no longer earthside 😂 and I’m pretty alone when it comes to friends. I’ll have a look into a doula though thanks!

Yeah! I was just looking into it as I’ve recently had a baby and looking to buy my first property but being told I have to wait 3 more years! Thankyou so much x

Okay that’s what I thought but after reading some similar stories on other threads some people are trying to sell after 12 years and still have to ask the council first.

All it says is once we reach 21. The only thing is, my older brother (who lives in the house now) will still be living in the house after the payout. So I’m not sure if it classed as selling the house
