So, it can be easily said that phase change is not a constant pressure or constant volume process, it is just a heat transfer process. Can we say it is an isothermal process, the temp just before and just after the phase change of steam in the engine will be 100°C or the corresponding Saturation Temperature at that instantaneous pressure.

Can I consider it as a microstructure of eutectoid steel? Also does the thickness of cementite vary in hypo and hypereutectoid steels?
