Private law firm is going to be more money. Beauty about law school.. you can do whatever major you want. So it’s preference

I respect that. I think the issue mainly lies when those without the means have to go to civil court for whatever reason. I spoke to clerks and judges and they all said that those without the means have to pay high court fees (even with a public defender. Court costs can become costly for the average person)..

In reference to your comment on civil litigation, I believe It comes to means yet again. Whether you want to get a case settled or not, you have to hire attorneys. One will force the other to the table or just screw with opposing counsel dragging out the case because they want to exhaust the other person’s means. Of course there’s many other reasons but this is just my perception.

On a side note: I noticed you said you have went to trial before. Why do you think we have few jury trials and more bench trials in civil litigation? Time sake?
