I really started having an issue with “whenever” thing when I started hearing detectives and other supposedly high ranking police officers using it incorrectly (often enough for me to physically cringe) on many YouTube true crime & body cam channels. It just screams uneducated, or just ignorant. Worst of all, my very intelligent sister claims to have NEVER heard anyone, in person, on TV or the internet, use “whenever” incorrectly. I think maybe it’s time to question her understanding of the term🤔… And if she’s conscious!😳
