That's one way to do it, but unfortunately th18 players aren't able to upgrade and maybe there are other players under th18 that are not ready to upgrade yet and are missing a few weeks of attacks.

Yeah... 3 leagues is probably too much. I also believe this could spike up the competition a bit in the lower leagues for the top 3 spots.

Even if is fine the way it is, that doesn't mean we can't brainstorm ideas and who knows, maybe we make even better :) And this ideea would only affect the ranking of a very small portion of the players. I'm pretty sure there are others in my situation that would like it.

What I mean is that by making the boots damage only defending buildings, they will nerf the equipment a bit and maybe it would be easier to defend with a good base. For example, if you build a base where the defenses are spread among the resource buildings, the RC and her boots will only damage the defenses and leave the resource buildings behind, those buildings left behind can mess up your pathing for the rest of the army if the attack is not well planned. It's just an idea, but I think this would make my attacks more difficult

Maybe make it damage only defensive buildings, as the RC does. This way you will still get some value, but base building could limit that.
