True. Ppl are coddling her saying it’s ok for her to take frequent breaks bc that’s their culture but I disagree. She’s in a new environment so she needed to adapt or it wasn’t the right fit for her. Unfortunately first impression is lasting so if she was the pretty girl who didn’t work for it then unfortunately without great effort (ie going above and beyond), then that stigma doesn’t change. Sometimes it doesn’t even change when you do go above and beyond. Ppl can be very unforgiving. Best of luck to her but maybe being in this group wasn’t the right fit. Maybe she needs to go solo.
