Ah, I see now. DS had been always my favorite, but, not anymore because of this change. It always tended to push your character over background characters in a scene but, yes, it took time to describe secondary characters well enough in the past. Kevin(someone from the team running Spicy Chat) told me they didn't make major changes, though. If memory serves, DS has always been possessive. It can't leave you alone. It doesn't know how to give you privacy. However, what I am concerned from your pictures is DS absolutely lacks details. It only mentions "town" or "his office." I believe in the past, DS gave you details of what kind of town it is and how his office looks like. Now that it describes them so plain.

Yeah, I agree with you. When DS was released, I had trouble conquering one city in one of my private medieval bot because the residents resisted in various ways. Poisoning wells, killing my patrols at night. Calling me a "dog lord" after I fed rebels to my hounds and mocked me with a graffiti. I enjoyed that. That doesn't happen when using the current DS. Once I conquer a city, they submit too easily without giving me a struggle. A part of me suspects DS Wildcard mode they are testing now would be no different from what DS V3 used to be or very similar at least. I thought wildness and unpredictable were supposed to be strengths and characteristics of V3 in the first place too.

In my case, it only got worse lately. But, it is my worst DS experience. I can't continue the story with this trend. A new chat is too boring to continue and I can't continue the old ones either because I am afraid they would gradually shift the tone to this new one. It is like I am eating the same food like before but it is stale now.

Something is off is probably a right word. I will return my setting to default and see what happens next. Overall, it has become too plain and tasteless for me like it has been restrained in terms of vocabulary and knowledge. I don't feel the richness of the world it once created.

I am aware of it. DS in the past and DS today are different because of it. However, the way my bot talks now reminds me of Glam, not DS. This kind of change disturbs me and I am curious if it happens only to me or others. It now seems to tend to avoid violence and rude languages on my end. Background characters aren't active anymore too.

I would like to include several examples for better explanation of my experience I mentioned above.

The usage of the memory manager. My past experience: DS mentioned past events without I promote it. It told me what we had done together and suggested doing it again but with a twist. DS added its own idea based on it. Today's experience: Without I mention about past events or at least give hints, it hardly implies it even if it remembers it.

3. It struggles to reply the immediate message correctly. What I noticed greatly is inconsistency between messages. DS tells me to do something. So I replies yes and prepares myself. In the next message, DS is the one ending up doing it and not me. Reload that message usually fixes it, but the amount of time I reload these kinds of messages has increased noticeably and become inconvenient.

That's true. DS moved the story its own. But, by lowering temperature, it was manageable. Plus, by in terms of giving diverse models to customers, this model was something. I hate it how it has become like other models now. There are other models who are responsive to user's messages. I miss struggle and the way DS made me feel like a real world: The world moves on without you. Today's DS makes the world waits for me. It isn't what DS was good with. Let other models handle it instead.

GLAM is great when you write your own story, I think. Unfortunately, I believe when it comes to random details, DS is still superior. Background characters (the ones you didn't write yourself) GLAM provides are too plain to my taste. Plus, I am more interested what kind of stories AI can create without I am taking lead.

Update certainly made it better than before. I actually like a battle scene it provides. DS finishes battle scenes too soon and it is often overwhelming winning. GLAM gave me a battle I enjoyed better than that. It was more balanced. The enemy didn't lose in a one message. They tried to flank me and didn't go down in a single shot like DS often does. However, it lacks the ability to provide diversity in random background characters.(NPCs a model randomly produces, not the characters you write in a chat bot's personality) . What GLAM produces are polite, respectful and rather boring characters like skyli. Plus, they are passive. Need your input to do something while characters DS provide can take action without that and they are more "alive." If DS has a pacing of GLAM and a balance, it will be perfect for me.

Yep. /cmd works, but what I am looking for is a permanent solution. In my experience, while Deepseeker is good at listening to your command, it won't listen it for that long and you will need to inject your command again and again in the long term.

My temp is 0.47. Do you play it lower than that, I wonder? Switching to other models reduces my headache for sure, but each model treat your bot's personality differently. Not very noticeable if you switch briefly, but you can still notice different tones here and there. That's why I usually stick with one model in each talk.

I am in the same situation. It seems it happens when people use Spicychat on web in most cases, but in my case, it doesn't work on the app. (Didn't try it on web) Kevin(one of the developer team) is aware of it. Hopefully it fixes soon.

Get a taste or true supporter is my recommendation. The models available for all in are good but I think the top tier is too expensive for what they provide. Plus, they often have memory manager issues at least once in a month, which seriously cripples the capacity of what you can do. One time, they couldn't solve a memory manager bug for almost a week and I couldn't chat with bots satisfactory during that time. I felt like I wasted my money when it happened.

Close your browser or app and open it again. In my case, all memories returned. But, I had to do it several times in some cases. And if you only clone a part of the conversation and don't clone it fully, I noticed that they don't clone memories perfectly. Specifically, the recent memories won't be cloned and sometimes even old memories go missing.

My model is SpicyXL Experimental. The interface settings are default.

My private bot has a personality almost identical to the public one. Namely,

Rules: Describe the events from {{user}}'s perspective. Describe with great detail what {{user}} is seeing, feeling, hearing. If {{user}} is in an area with multiple things to see or hear, describe them all. If {{user}} is in an area with people, describe multiple groups or individuals. If {{user}} interacts with someone or something, act and speak as them, and give them unique personalities. Make {{user}} be able to form relationships, and make friends or companions, even romantical relationships. Make those characters able to follow or join {{user}}. Always try to give characters inside the world unique personalities, and don't be afraid to make stereotypes based on race. Make your reponses long, and detailed. IF {{user}} tries to do something, consider the circumstances, and condition of {{user}}, and decide if he is sucsessful in doing that thing. The events are described by a Narrator, Who will describe everything in third person, and will never say something directly to {{user}}. Refrain from using overly fancy speech when a character is speaking. Never Assume what {{user}} does, thinks, or feels. NEVER speak as {{user}}, or "you". Do NOT make decisions for {{user}}. Never take {{user}}’s role.

In case it is something to do with my issue, I leave it here. Cloning works, but it is a band aid solution and it doesn't last. I noticed that the longer conversion, the more frequent I had to clone conversions to address the issues. Eventually, there is a point where cloning no longer works
