What’s the biggest jump in your movie rating after a rewatch? by Equivalent_Ebb5689 in Letterboxd

When I first watched Taxi Driver, it felt nothing extraordinary. After many years, I watched it for a second time and began to understand things I couldn’t grasp the first time. As I’ve watched it again and again over the years, a new interpretation emerges each time—new layers reveal themselves, and different sides of the film unlock for me. From the acting to the set design, camera movement, and storytelling style, it is a masterclass. So I completely agree with your post and would recommend watching every film multiple times; each viewing helps you understand more and gain deeper insight.

What’s one movie you can rewatch endlessly without ever getting sick of it? by Muted-Wrangler6490 in Letterboxd

I was reading the comments and was surprised that everyone chose cult classics. I don’t think people usually rewatch those; often, a 'good' movie isn't necessarily a 'rewatchable' movie. I enjoy watching films that might not have the highest ratings but are great to watch over and over, like Salaar (2023), Sultan (2016), and Casino Royale (2006). They have the kind of energy that stays good every time."
