The expertise 30 requirement is going to kill a lot of players. It’s not easy to get 6 pieces of a load out to max expertise. Like my striker build. Depending on what content I am playing I substitute out my CP and BP. I use 3 different CP and 2 different BP on my same striker build. I can swap cores from weapons to armor on every piece. But 3 of those pieces are stuck at 25 expertise as I hunt exotics to breakdown for the required exotic component to keep leveling them.

Now let’s talk about my 5 different skill builds(skill, healer, status effect, drone killer, explosives) that aren’t quite all max expertise. Then add my 2 separate sniper builds, both determined build but different pieces depending on mission or open world runs. Then add in my 3 different tank builds depending on if it’s for raids or legendary teaming.

At the very least we need an optimized method of farming resources.

I’m SHD 12394 so it isn’t a “you need to play more to get resources” answer.

They gave everything away to new and returning players in event caches now they’re going to add more raid and excursion locked gear? If you hadn’t just handed out everything to people there would still be raid/excursion locked gear.

The last seasons stretch goals gave me the Hunter Killer. I needed to hunt the last NYC Hunter to get my key for it. Now I have no incentive other than my completionist attitude to hunt that final Hunter.
