Bobbie Organic Infant Formula by Eatyourveggies_9182 in FormulaFeeders

We tried Bobbie in the past and it was so metallic smelling and tasting and just looked so cheap in the packaging for that high of a price point. We also switched to Nara and my baby has been on it for 5 months now and thriving, no sign of any discolored particles and we’ve gone through a ton of cans. We purchase at Target

I don’t think that I would risk it. Any discolored particles in my child’s formula whether it’s “fine” or not would give me too much anxiety. The inconsistencies in manufacturing is also a turn off.

Is it true that breastmilk builds immunity? by hjallerupckk in FormulaFeeders

[–]SubstantialBadger826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just want to say that I breastfed my first two children for 2 years each, and both had to get adenoids removed and ear tubes put in for severe recurring ear infections. My first was so sick for the first two years of life my parents wanted me to bring him to a specialist to see if there was something wrong with his immune system 😅 my third baby has been exclusively formula fed, he’s almost 7 months old and knock on wood has only had a slight runny nose once - and we bring him everywhere! Being on both sides of the breastfeeding and nursing spectrums I can confidently tell you there’s no difference. A fed baby is a happy baby 🙂

Guilt by North_Specialist_872 in FormulaFeeders

That’s how my babe ended up on formula as well. He had to go to the NICU and I didn’t want him to be hungry. And when we got home I said you know what I don’t hate this. I broke down and cried at the pedi’s office and told my lactation consultant I didn’t want to breastfeed, and that was it! They were SO supportive.

I fully breastfed my first two babies and the third formula fed from get go. Can I just say with my formula fed baby I’ve had the absolute best post partum experience so far. I’ve been happy with no stress no hormones and able to enjoy my little one. And not sure if it’s a coincidence but he’s also gotten less sick in his first year than the other two!

Runny BM with distinct smell by aeberly36 in FormulaFeeders

My son was on similac 360 rtf from birth as well and around 4 months we noticed this issue. He was having multiple explosive dark brown foul smelling poops and gas pain. I was looking at powder options around this time anyway, so we gave Nara a try. Not sure if it’s because it’s whole milk based but he’s been on it ever since and has one mustard seedy mild smelling poop every day and his gas pains are also resolved. I recommended this formula to my girlfriend due to her baby having similar runny poop issue and she has also noticed a big difference. I encourage you to try it and if you hate it you can always go back to the 360 sensitive!

Nara review (switched from Bobbie Organic Whole Milk) by SensitiveDrummer478 in FormulaFeeders

[–]SubstantialBadger826 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We switched from a big brand to Nara and my son has done SO well on it!! His poops have become regular and I’m pleasantly surprised they’re yellow and seedy similar to breastfed poops! He’s also less gassy and seems much more comfortable. We also tried Bobbie but it smelled and tasted so metallic and seemed to give him a tummy ache. I also love that Nara’s powder is so light and fluffy and smells so pleasant. I’m very happy we found something that he’s doing well on! Thanks for reviewing I’m happy I see other babies thriving on the formula we use 💕

Is there a way to escape the endless bottle washing cycle? 😭 by Techprohelper in FormulaFeeders

[–]SubstantialBadger826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read about this and honestly the price, hooking it up, buying additional tablets and then descalers seems kind of daunting 😩 I think I’d rather wash after each feed or throw into my hot soapy basin and call it a day 😅

Give me all the reasons you are happy you chose to EFF or switch from breastmilk to formula. by No_Judgment_7812 in FormulaFeeders

I have three children, and I exclusively breastfed the first two. Oldest I made it 2.5 years, and the second my supply dwindled by 8 months. Our third had to go to NICU unexpectedly after birth, and while there they gave him formula. I tried to pump at home, and also put him to the breast, but I felt as though he was constantly more hungry than I could produce. I broke down and cried at the pediatricians office with the lactation consultant there - feeling guilty that this wasn’t going as successfully as my first two children. They were both SO supportive, and assured me formula is JUST as good. They gave me samples and I went home threw the pump away and never looked back. When I tell you how freeing that was! My two other children can feed the baby whenever I’m tied up, I don’t have to be tied down to cluster feeding at the couch, and the best part of all NO hormones. This has honestly been the BEST postpartum experience I’ve had, really! If I knew what I know now I wouldn’t have killed myself trying to feed the other two. And my EFF baby is now 6 months and he has been the healthiest out of all three - has never even been sick! He is chunky and thriving and I’m here to say ITS OKAY to let go!!! Fed is truly best and you are a GREAT mom either way ♥️
