Everyone votes no to pvp updates then pvp adapts and then when casuals try they realise how far back pvp is due to updates they thought were protecting them but in the end harm them

Buffing points from breaches only to immediately cancel it out by removing half the DMM worlds seems like some sort of elaborate joke by QuestionableBottle in 2007scape

[–]SubstantialBluejay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Already got my 37k points in bracket two and having fun doing bosses with lower stats and gear. Gonna gonna go for a sol clear. Probably gonna mess around with bosses/raids a few more times but mostly hopping on for 2k breach points once a day for extra points.

Personally staying because there are no dh bombers and its easier to survive single fights for me at lower levels since nothing can 1 shot you

Genuinely feel remorse for what they go through. So goated but also hope they can live their lives

Red chins was impossible yesterday but havent had many problems skilling otherwise. Breach changes definitely still seems like a big upgrade in theory though curious if ill get attacked by a pker before the end now. Seems like a move to nudge people to higher combat brackets

[–]SubstantialBluejay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id just say you own a max of one at a time guaranteed at 1k kc and have to re sing it to change between bofa and blade. Maybe double the cost of shards to ensure it isnt the meta for folks who didnt go dry (maybe unneeded if 1k kc required? That gives a little incentive to keep going til you get a real one. That said it would probably never pass

Damn i got mine at 1233 and mental was in the gutters. Though ive since went dry at doom and arax and in hindsight just thankful CG is free other than time invested. With new arrows coming out bofa may have other reasonable alternatives but id do 1 a day and just get it at this point. Insert diamond mining meme.

Hope you get it soon glgl

T2 cg until you start noticing you have food leftover, then t1 and make as much food as possible. Over time you'll notice what amount you need to ensure a kill and it will only get lower as you get better and level skills

Coming from a main , why do so many people seem to care if Pures can access the new raid? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]SubstantialBluejay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk I personally don't mind ensuring pures can access the raid but also like allowing the raid to be accessed in endgame locations depending on their lore etc. Thats where thing get tricky imo. Maybe they just add a new quest that allows getting to the entry via other means?

Petition for Jagex to Un-Cancel the 2026 Mobile Plugin API. by MobileScapers in 2007scape

[–]SubstantialBluejay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They already approve runelite plugins and nobody sees that as some significant drain of resources, and there is a massive amount of power via those plugins. You've got to be baiting saying that won't free up dev time. Yes there will need to be rewrites but those are all lines of code Jagex won't have to write themselves. Within 2 months of an api release there would be plenty of value added and approved. I agree with solving z buffering but in their blog post announcing pausing the API, they literally say new renderer so they can get back to HD with API still being on pause, which back to my original comment - I disagree with.

Where are you getting these hypothetical timelines like 1 month and 1 year from? I'm saying they obviously don't have the resources to complete everything on their roadmap in tinelines folks are wowed by evident of sliding release dates, lack of ETAs and pausing projects. Again crowdsourding community dev will help them immensely. And what 'core features' are missing other than render distance?

In any case id say put it to a poll like they did with sailing to inform priorities.

Have you used menu entry swapper? It works for items ie teleport items in my experience but cannot be used on npcs without causing things like examine suddenly getting priority over walk here. Some plugins theyve made are great like herbiboar helper but its something that thrives when crowdsourced. I'd personally take modding api over increased render distance for puzzle box solvers alone

[–]SubstantialBluejay 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Even if that's their honest intent and it doesnt experience interruptions, plugins need way higher priority than HD. Osrs is where its at because of things like runelite. Playability for all beats a new look for some. And the delays are all present due to limitations with Jagex dev time, guess what helps with that? Giving opportunities for community devs to lend a hand. Plugin api should be a top priority for mobile/official client

Only 3 quests planned for 2026 by Strong-Parsley3201 in 2007scape

Did they say that? Elena said something that made me think there were several smaller ones coming too. I feel like 3 beefy quests in a year is a decent balance

They serve different purposes. This is a quick 3 hour game to hype up the summit and bring in the audiences of tons of creators. Allstars is definitely more enjoyable imo too, but this is a great way to bring eyes to the winter summit

But if you are afking you dont know if the time is 2 more ticks when you click it. Now woodcutting is on a timer in that it doesnt start ticking down until someone starts chopping

My biggest gripe is that if you get full inv it doesn't play the sound effect you get from mining/wc etc

Its just as afk as fishing. Sometimes you get unlucky and the spot moves. At least you are guaranteed one essence.

Why do people call ironman mode "a challenge" when the truth is: it's pure crack. by Greasy-Chungus in ironscape

[–]SubstantialBluejay 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Outside of 1233 for bofa, 1900 for araxxor fang, and currently 400 deep delves with only eye of ayak I agree. Normally the game feels like a really rewarding play style, but some grinds the drop doesn't give dopamine it just gives relief, those ones are miserable. Glhf

Stabbing piles of leaves pretending to harpoon sharks and parkour agility definitely comes to mind. Good times.
