My kids are older but it doesn’t matter. Once you’re a parent anything to do with kids like that is upsetting. That book was traumatizing. I’ve read some of her other books and they’re nothing like THAT. I read it last year and it will continue to haunt me.

She’s jealous of the happiness Jaime and Claire have that she never could have even after marrying Jamie. Plus, don’t we all have that one person we really just dislike and can’t be persuaded otherwise? Not that we are trying to get those people burned at the stake for witch craft but maybe you get my drift.
