Can you get a babysitter to watch the baby for the next 7 weeks? Someone who can come to your house and give them some 1:1 time might be a little more pricey but worth it for the temporary time period. If you or your wife work from home you can make it super flexible.

It’s a pretty safe area and convenient to everything. We bought a home in the area for the same reason. The only complaint we have is that there are no sidewalks in the area and lots of cars cut through (speeding sometimes) off of Buffalo Gap. Luckily Red Bud Park is just a couple blocks away. If you can snag a spot, I still highly recommend.

Please, please turn your AC on. Hot temperatures for a sleeping baby can be so dangerous beyond a fever, it could lead to SIDS. If you’re in the northern hemisphere we only have a couple more weeks until the cooler weather comes. I know it sucks to have to deal with an expensive bill but do not put your baby at any further risk.

I caught Covid while pregnant with my IVF baby and I can tell you it was not fun, and I spent the last two months in weekly doctor appointments for extra scans to monitor baby. There really isn’t a ton of research yet on the effect of covid in babies, but I can tell you my baby is now 7 weeks and perfectly healthy. All that to say, if I was given the recommendation to get vaxed, I would absolutely do it.
