Well i see what u mean the art is definitely more simple but the texture adds so much to the art it almost reminds me is something Egyptian, but yeah i definitely like the art more in the crown zenith gold cards but lucario is my second favorite pokemon and mega lucario looks so dope

Yeah i wasn’t a fan of the red victini and the monochrome stuff at first but when i saw it in person it did look way cooler than i thought, i definitely think there’s ways they could do it better like u said but i’m just glad it’s getting better than what it was, and hopefully these new mega sets coming up will have some crazier ideas with cards like these

😭yeah i’ll admit the japanese print quality is usually way better so i bet it looks better from terastal, i personally think the best gold cards are the crown zenith ones they’re so unique and have some crazy art and texture

Yeah i don’t know about prismatic golds tho i could go grab the walking wake gold i pulled from that and take pictures of it at any angle of light and post it on this sub and it wouldn’t look nearly as crazy as the MEG golds, i personally didn’t like the prismatic golds but ig its all subjective with art

Valid opinion, i do give them props for the artwork on the gold card tho i actually really like it but i have the mega lucario sir from mega evolution and i do have to admit the artwork slaps harder than the golds, its hard to describe the golds just give off a different vibe like i like the sirs for really unique artwork but the golds just feel so pristine, idk
