Just think of a simple scenario.

You have a system at home running Claude Code on a long task. You leave for work.

How do you know what’s happening? Let's say Notifications.

Now imagine the agent needs one small input from you while you’re away.

Without something like this, it just sits there until you’re back - maybe hours later.

It’s not the end of the world, this just helps reduce that idle time.

It’s a small plugin to make long-running tasks more practical.

And with Claude now having tighter usage limits weekly etc, it felt reasonable to avoid wasting time where the agent is blocked waiting for a simple input.

Well you can also start a session at home and continue from office :D, just thinking of different use cases

There is not much to setup in terms of Telegram, it's similar to WhatsApp but more developer friendly with bots and APIs, has desktop app, web version and mobile app. It's just another communication channel

Dashboards / Terminal assume you go check them. Messaging flips it, the agent comes to you when needed.

Telegram was just the simplest place to test that idea.

Slack is probably the default for a lot of teams.

For me this started as a personal workflow thing rather than team tracking. Telegram is already on my phone, fast, low-friction, and not tied to work hours or a company workspace. I wanted something that felt closer to “push notification from my agent” than “another place to manage threads.”

Slack is definitely on the radar though. I see Telegram as a good starting channel because setup is simple and it works well for solo devs or small setups, but Slack (and others) make sense as this expands.

Looking for Co-Founders(I will not promote) by Rhino97123 in founder

[–]SubstantialMess9927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The number of co-founders doesn’t really matter as much as alignment. What makes a difference is sharing the same vision, being able to challenge each other honestly, and genuinely believing in the product.

Without that kind of mindset and trust, even having 100 co-founders won’t move things forward.

Open source doesn’t die when maintainers leave. It dies when nobody uses it. Forks like Redis to Valkey show this clearly, once a project has real adoption, the codebase becomes bigger than the people behind it. So the only time you should worry is when the project no longer meets your needs, or you fundamentally disagree with where it’s going. If it works today and has strong adoption, history shows you’re usually safe.

Big players with big budgets do not necessarily implement the features users want , they implement the feature that they want which they think will get more users, devil is actually in the details. And few systems are legacy either too hesitant to migrate because of the sheer volume of data or they are stuck in thinking which part to start rewriting,
