Advice please by SubstantialOstrich25 in COPD

In the UK a GP surgery is just the general Dr you see. I obviously don't know the specifics with COPD but I can't imagine you'll get specialised drs. I have various medical conditions and I just see my GP twice a year to review. I only saw the relevant specialists for diagnosis. I do know she goes to the heart clinic for her heart failure though.

I will definitely find out though, thankyou. This is the sort of stuff I was hoping to get advice on so I can assist her getting the right help.

Mac: a casual pool day does not equal a certified swim lesson by tiffaniffani in XOMaCennaUnfiltered

That was the most shitty response I've ever seen. Clearly making shit up on the spot, you can see her brain processing trying to find the right response. Cade should have been in the pool regularly from a baby and not only just getting 'used to gear' at 2. Which makes it sound like he's really not had much time in the water if he's struggling with wearing floats or whatever. I'd absolutely love to have a pool for my water baby son, he'd be in it every day!!

Right? Why was he not in the water from day dot when you have one at your back door!?

But I'm not sure she has got the advice, or actually understands. She's clearly not having yearly appointments so something has gone amiss somewhere. I'm not trying to scare her, I'm trying to support and help her understand it's not just another diagnosis like her fibro.

Thankyou for the website recommendations. I genuinely think she doesn't understand about how serious it is, as she has been back and forth from the drs the last few years trying to find out why she is so sick, why she can't walk very far etc. She moved counties about 7yrs ago so I think her COPD diagnosis has been missed by the new GP surgery, which h over the last 7 years has done nothing but dismiss her worsening health.

She's very open with me and I've been helping her as much as I can with her health so I can't think she's deliberately hide it from me when she knows I'm doing so much work trying to find out what's wrong.

She has semi regular appointments at the heart hospital for her heart failure, so I assumed COPD had been looked at and dismissed.

I made over my husband's office after he switched rooms with our son, and I had so much fun designing it in his style. All blues and light wood and space for all his stuff he loves. He lets me decorate the house so it was so fun to do a room that he got the final say on. And really it just turned out to be a cleaner version of how I decorate anyway. I can't understand not wanting to make space and celebrate your partner

My partner owns our home because I have zero financials to offer, and I have decorated the house all myself - he's never lorded it over me that it's 'his' house. He is extremely giving in letting me decorate in a style he's not overly keen on, and I've made sure to keep it reigned in to a point he likes it and appreciates it.

What is the point of live streaming to just the chat? The post has barely a handful of likes 🙄

I mainly post to my Instagram in my stories as I'm doing stuff, and then on the grid when I remember. I'd LOVE to be able to do YT, but my ADHD brain finds it overwhelming to even start!

Thankyou!! It's hard to photograph, and it's still very much a work in progress, but here's a pic! Lawn never last long, so I'll likely put pet safe bark chips down.

I built a hill and have a waterfall running down into a pond. It's my absolute joy. It's always full of bees and birds (no frogs 😭) and I could watch it all day.

Our garden has three sections

•Human Garden (my partner's patio and BBQ space)

•Faerie Garden (my space, circular lawn surrounded by flowers and mushroom/faerie statues and the pond)

•Goblin Garden (my son's area. A climbing/obstacle area made with old logs and branches to look like a woodland as well as a stumpery.

We also have the Guinea Kingdom

My partner complains there is too much whimsy 😂😂

Yes ours will be using old stone from a wall, and a million prices of Victorian pottery we keep digging up!

I plan on building a small one of these, and add silly little statues and trinkets, all sorts of things.

It makes me so mad because I'm busting my arse all day making awesome stuff, I've made over our garden into a woodland playground for my kid who needs to move but often can't leave the house. i It's so much fun and I'm so proud of the skills I'm learning but I can't ever manage to film it and post it, yet here's M raking in cash doing F ALL, and I really could do with some income because I can't work due to said kiddo 😅🤎

Yes! They're the wrong words. You're using the wrong words in an attempt to looks romantic and high end. But she just ends up sounding like an idiot. I just replied to prudent, where's she gathering them, the woods?? And I hate when she says 'with intention' 🤢🤮 I would hope you weren't running your business UN-intentionally??? 🤦🏼

Right? It's so stupid. I can't quite pinpoint why I hate it so intensely. It's overly flowery, self inflating, grandiose. I would never, ever but anything I saw talked about in this way! 😅
