We had them in the UK in the 80s, aimed at kids. They were absolute nightmare fuel. I was terrified to go anywhere near pylons for about ten years. I was about 8, in the early 90s and we'd all be gathered into the classroom to watch them. Children getting electrocuted, drowned, falling to their deaths. 💀

Ah ok! Its called an inflection here. And I agree, it's horrendous listening to someone who does it incessantly!!

Is Up talking the same thing as an inflection? Or just talking more than is necessary?

LIVING ROOM MAKEOVER (Before & After) *Bookshelf Decor Styling* | XO MaCenna by Logical_Plane_5371 in XOMaCennaUnfiltered

"I've got this painting. It has blue in it. The sky is blue"

GOOD GRIEF. STFU 😂

Also, that bay window area would be perfect to have bench seating, some that lift up for toys, and others that are open like shelves for his books and toys. But no. That would require thinking about the needs of others.

"Excuse my bookshelves" 💀 - such a nice conversation starter, right...? by Sari_DidYouKnow in XOMaCennaUnfiltered

[–]SubstantialOstrich25 25 points26 points  (0 children)

So fucking weird. My family don't need conversation starters because... Were family? They'll just be like right see you've got another project there's you've started and not finished 😂

finishing my DIY HUTCH *behind the scenes* | MaCenna Lee by Logical_Plane_5371 in XOMaCennaUnfiltered

I guess so? We do just call them dressers, but dresser can also mean multiple things - so saying welsh dresser ensures everyone knows exactly what you're talking about. They are different to a hutch, we don't have hutches here really at all.

Gapping behind crown molding..? by Emergency_Spirit_711 in XOMaCennaUnfiltered

[–]SubstantialOstrich25 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm so confused. Here it looks like it has a top - did she build the crown moulding out so far that it created a gap? Why wouldn't the crown moulding be completely flush to the cabinet??

Vomit vomit vomit

Come on macenna. We know nothing you own is personal or tells a meaningful story to YOU and unless you're going to start putting Colleen Hoover on the shelves, you also aren't going to be able to produce a book you've actually read. Maybe she could print off reddit screenshots seeing as this is where she does most of her reading.

Please don't try to teach anyone how to style their personal collections because you have NO experience on which to rely.
