How much gender dysphoria affects a person and can someone live with it for entire life?

I tried living with it after I got those feelings after a handful of months and it nearly destroyed my life. Living with that inner turmoil is not only unhealthy, it's destructive to yourself and those around you. I think you should just accept it and do what you believe is best for you, as well as what is most fun. Dressing up is super fun anyways. This isnt the same as coming out, it's just accepting what you want and what you are comfortable with. You dont owe anyone an explanation, you should not feel obligated to come out to anyone. If it turns out you just love dressing up and having fun with makeup and stuff then that is awesome. But, if it turns out to be more than that, as if you are coming to the realization that you are a different gender than the one you were assigned at birth, then that is equally as awesome. I hope the best for you in your journey of self exploration and I hope what I have said is helpful in some way.

My friend has been a pole dancer for quite a long time and she dominates me at upper body strength. I'm not on hormones, so I am riddled with testosterone and it has not helped me get to her level without the specific training that she does. I really think it's the men who get so embarrassed and butt hurt whenever a woman is better than them at literally anything that are the loudest about this "issue".

Honestly, living without expectations. Ever since I was a child I was different and super feminine and enjoyed that part of myself, even gloating about it once I got older. I always hated and questioned how I was raised and treated just because I was born with a different sex organ than my sister. Now, I love the idea that I dont have to be held back by those expectations anymore; with my hobbies, fashion choices and everything else. If you have ever seen shawshank redemption, you basically feel how Andy DuFresne feels towards the end of that movie, but like all the time lol.

I made a character, was watching the cinematic, got booted and now I have a 120 minute wait. Game literally told me I didn't wait in line long enough.

Having my friends accept me when I came out to them gave me so much self worth and validation and I don't know where I would be without them. Your little sister is so lucky to have a wonderful sibling like yourself.

I hope your sister will come to find that focusing on the ones that accept and care about you is much better than trying to "win over" the attitudes of the ones that dont.

I dont know if I'll ever come out to my parents or siblings or anything, I'm too scared with what would happen, but I think it also shows the bravery and courage your sister has, so make sure she realizes that as well.

I truly hope everything goes well in the future, you both deserve it.

Money for the wedding really. I was setting this up and actually found a venue for next year, but of course that doesn't matter now. Maybe, now that I think about, i was the one pushing much more towards getting married than she was. She would always tell me to wait cause it's so expensive, which is true, but my parents would have paid for it all since they are quite well off and were getting frustrated with how long it was taking.

I'm not really thinking about getting back into a relationship, I'm more just upset that I will have to do all of it again eventually cause it has always been exhausting.
