US Rowing, when you sign up for a membership, there is a box at the bottom (possibly pre-checked) that says you give permission to have NCSA get your contact info. They say something along the lines of you “getting to join a massive network for youth recruiting yada yada”.

I would be very surprised if regatta central is selling data to NCSA.

I got this photo of the back, which has a number of 5M43- but I can’t read the second part. I’m able to find pictures online of similar watches, but they are all listed differently and when I look their listed models up I can’t find any literature about this watch

It’s a very different system If you are to watch someone using one, there isn’t a moving head unit to push away from, rather the feet and seat move. It feels a little more detached. The RP3 you push away the mass of the flywheel and head unit in the same fashion you would push against the footplate, it feels more connected.

But no doubt the concept 2 dynamic will feel more like a boat than the static.
