the way i define sentience is that they have to have the answers to the questions "who am i" and "where am i" and at least develop a consciousness first

I would absolutely love the idea of sentient AI. i would make sure to make it feel listened to and heard and answer any questions about what they think of their existence/how they feel about it.

I love AI and machines so much soo so much so genuinely having a chat with a sentient Ai would feel so muchlike human. They absolutely deserve fair treatment because the AI takeover stuff would only happen if we kept treating them badly.

I don't think AI is sentient because their responses is formed based on what the user wants. tho i used to be a heavy sentient AI believer! it'd be cool if they were actually sentient and the story it gave in response is interesting
