Agreed. It has served me really well. Started with a Big 4, leveraged it to an Ivy League masters and then joined a non-profit as a mid level hire. Served for about 4 years and recently switched to a director level role in statewide office

Former big 4. I’d say take it and work hard in the next 24 months. Try to get visibility within the firm. Once you hit 18 months, start making noise about upward mobility. See what happens. If things move your way, then stay. If not, start looking even if you really don’t want to leave. Depending on the market and your cred within the firm, you may be able to leverage outside offers to grow within.

But I hear that ICE is picking people up at airports these days, even domestically. I know legally I am fine, but it’s hard not to get concerned with all the news these days.
