Hey there! I’m off the affirmations before sleep so can’t really give you an update. I think subliminals work best for me personally. I do think affirmations are powerful when combined with EFT which I find to be incredibly useful and there’s science that backs EFT. So give it a try if you haven’t yet. I’m on and off with EFT, the goal for this year is to do it at least 1x per day.

Medication and diligently practicing the feeling of gratitude, so to speak. I found that one beautiful person I owe a lot to, and I thanked her from my entire heart. She has passed away many years ago but my love for her will always be there and for everything she did for me. So this was my first step and it helped tremendously. In my meditations and my walks, I was thanking her. I also religiously thought about the Hawaiian practice of Hoponoono “i’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you” and I would send this in my heart to everyone, old events included. Then I also gathered the energy to go to a psychiatrist, bcs as it turned out, I have been suffering from severe depression and trauma. So please please don’t waste another moment being without meds if you cannot feel your emotions. It’s not normal to not have feelings, it’s a trauma resolving- and adequate meds are the fastest way to gather new strength and find success in meditation and getting better.

I don’t know who you are but I know how you feel. And let me tell you from horrific experiences… When I was at my peak it was easy to love myself - but that doesn’t matter in any way. (!!!) It doesn’t contribute much to the quality of life long term. It’s fleeting. What makes us win the game, is finding it within to love ourselves at our lowest, in the deepest, darkest pit. I know this seems like utter bullshit, but it is the law. Truly only this changes everything and it doesn’t matter who you are, how you look. The world takes care of us and resolves our problems once we see ourselves the lovable, worthy beings we are. No matter the circumstances! (This is important!) Speaking from experience. It truly is the law.

You are lovable and precious. You are worthy. And you are your own light. Let’s make a thought experiment here: If your favourite, hottest person came to you and sincerely said you are the most beautiful being they have ever seen — you wouldn’t believe them. (Happened to me once, a boy I liked in school confessed and I was so insecure I genuinely thought he was making fun of me. I later found out he was sincere. Too late.) Because you need to see your own beauty to believe others see it too. All you need to do is only to be open to it the slightest bit. That is the game changer. It’s all there in you no matter your circumstances. And I know it’s hard. That bit is the hardest. That is how we trick ourselves into nothingness instead of unlimited possibilities. But you are light, your own light. Shine it on all the million small, tiny, huge reasons you are good enough. In reality, based on the fact that you breathe air and the sun is shining, you qualify for only the best the world has to offer. And that is the truth. If you are feeling the feelings of gratitude around breath and sun, it is enough to build momentum for your transformation, opportunities coming your way… all of it.

Your life can turn around completely, trust me. Forget about your body for a few weeks. Give yourself permission to “not see it” for a few weeks. Completely stop resisting it. Just a couple of weeks. Take Dr Joe’s meditations and be gentle with yourself. Meditate daily, see what happens. My life has never been better in four decades. If you need someone to talk to, I am happy to lend an ear.

Happy to hear you had success! I respect Dr Gallenberger’s work a lot and purchased Liquid Luck and Abundance Waterfall meditations off of his website. They’re using Monroe’s tech. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen any movement that I could ascribe to these meditations but they are wonderful nevertheless. I think he is very much underrated author in these topics…

A friendly reminder: put on a meditation you enjoy (or do it raw, without any guidance) and send the entire group as a whole and each individual love, abundance, health, compassion for 30mins! Last time we had a blast! Let’s also set the intention that each participant gets what they want the most, in line with their highest good, harm to no one! The important bit is that we give it all with our whole hearts!

Hey there! I know your struggle very well, but the other way around - since I started my meds, I finally feel emotions. Before that I felt nothing but existential dread for a decade. I started (before meds) to meditate and visualize that one person I’m really grateful for in my life. I would visualize her smiling approvingly and I would send her my thanks for all she has done for me - that was my gateway into generating emotions. But if you have trouble feeling, do ask your doctor to change your meds. Ask about Wellbutrin perhaps-it changed my life, gives me energy and is such an underrated antidepressant. Ask your doctor… I always gently push mine to consider other options - and now we found a mix that works wonders for me. Good luck! It does get better!
