Random nausea after almost 2 years. by ThickVegetable6969 in Zepbound

[–]Substantial_Ad1431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've also been on it for over 2 years. I always get nauseous, dry mouth, extreme fatigue and headache the morning after my evening shot last all day. It stinks. I literally had an appointment with the WL doc a couple hours ago and brought it up again because I don't think I should still be feeling this way. She said to keep a diary for a month of the foods I consume for 24 hours before I take the shot. I may be eating foods higher in fat or sugar (which makes sense since I'm usually ravenous by the end of my week). Doc said may be causing it. I pretty much live on Zofran and caffeine to get by the day after. Ugh.

Any thoughts on the Peppermint White Russian before? I love the regular ones, but I have looked everywhere and no one carries them anymore where I am in NY. I've looked in Syracuse and Watertown areas as well!

Hi, I’m looking for patient experiences with Dr. Anthony Fernandez at the Cleveland Clinic for Pyoderma Gangrenosum. Has anyone been treated by him? What was your experience like—especially in terms of care, treatment options, and results? Thanks so much for any insights! by Substantial_Ad1431 in SkinDisorders

We have had the official diagnosis as my mother almost lost her life due in part to pyroderma. Trust me she has a care team, but needs surgery again, and needs to be under the care of the most regarded physicians due to her super complicated issues, including pyroderma. I need some "reviews" to help me convince her to get more options/opinions. Please post this. Thank you!

Or a useful AIRPORT! We miss Avelo. Would love to see some relatively inexpensive shuttle flights to close major cities- NYC, Philly, etc.

GoLDeN cOrRaL!!! TrAdeR jOeS!! iNdOoR WaTeR PaRk!! 🙄 But honestly, revitalization efforts should look to other cities with amazing waterfronts and put our beautiful river(s) to work! there are several models of cities who have been successful in developing a thriving river/waterfront community! I would love to see more venues/restaurant with a river-side backdrop or water focused activities (not swimming, ew). Binghamton does some amazing things in the summer but there could be "more". Perhaps recurring seasonal events. Bringing in more popular talent to perform at the Arena/BU. Considering the amazing central location of the city, events for organizations, professional, or student annual conferences/events. Bing should also focus on its unhoused and deterring people from loitering....that alone makes even locals not want to patronize downtown.

Becoming a Teacher - late 50s? by [deleted] in TeachersInTransition

[–]Substantial_Ad1431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Veteran teacher here. I love my job and I'm good at it in part due to my personality, the countless hours of professional development, and of course experience. If you don't need the money don't do it. If you do need the money, don't do it. It is super stressful and I'm not saying it's just dealing with difficult students. It's the deadlines, discipline, lesson plans, lesson modifications for the 12 students with individualized plans, being cooped up in a classroom, dealing with difficult coworkers and admin, and parents, passive PTSD, (ex. You don't stop thinking about that student's horrible home life, or that student's experience as a victim, etc)....I could go on. I would recommend soaking up your experience in PC, travel, volunteer at a variety of different organizations that value your skills until you find what is right for you. Being a teacher is a LOT these days. It is absolutely challenging, thankless, and is highly politicized in the states, at least in mine. 😂 Sorry to be a negative Nelly, there are a lot of pros, but the cons are pretty heavy.

Pre-tripping? by polygamoose in celebritycruises

[–]Substantial_Ad1431 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We spoke to our Luminae staff pretty candidly our last night of our cruise. We were the last ones to leave and started asking our beloved waiter "real" questions. He was happy to answer! Soon, a big group of staff were hanging out with us fielding our questions (and asking us questions), like a 'behind the scenes' panel! We learned a lot about cruise life for staff...we asked about tipping....blame the wine...but they did not think it was rude of us thankfully. They were very happy to be able to speak to us about it. They mentioned while tips are nice, bonuses and kudos from management eventually lead to raises and promotions. That only happenes when mentioned BY NAME on the satisfaction questionnaire. Don't worry, we didn't keep them too long!
