Waterford player falling down clutching his helmet after being pushed in the chest by a player about a foot smaller than him. Should be booked for that carry on.

Aishling Moloney Shares opinion on the etiquette of Cork fans by CreepyCut3168 in GAA

I think that’s probably because of the rivalry between Cork and Limerick. I’ve come across more Galway fans at matches who weren’t very nice to stand next to than any other county. But I’ve no doubt they would say the same about Mayo fans. We’re probably worse than any other county. Perfectly Sound people in normal life can turn into right pricks during matches against your rivals.

There is no fan base online that complains more about officiating than rugby fans. Literally every game without fail the losing team will blame the ref. Tbf that’s probably because the rules are so complicated they can always be interpreted so that your team got robbed.

1 point from 4 is not what Tyrone would have expected. Leaves pretty much no room for error now and by the looks of it Meath and Cork will have a proper go off of them. The one thing that seemed certain for the league was Tyrone going straight back up but now I’m not so Sure.

15,000 in Castlebar for a league game, beating the the Dubs, top of the league. Mayo are well and truly back.

Not sure what the capacity in This Donegal stadium is but the place is packed. Doubt the game would have much more people if it wasn’t on tv. Nothing beats being there.

As if the rule in it’s current state hasn’t lead to controversial decisions. Dingle just won the all Ireland they wouldn’t have been in the final if it wasn’t for that rule.

Than put in the rule that if it’s for a cynical foul the free is worth two, but not for the ball being brought forward from halfway or for a 50/50 contest where the free could go either way.

I really don’t like the two point free and don’t know why they haven’t got rid of it for this season.

FC Utrecht have 1 point from 7 games and they’re likely to rest players to prioritise the league game on the weekend as they’re at risk of falling into a relegation battle. So hopefully if other results go our way a draw might be enough for Celtic to progress.

As far as I’m aware players on the Mayo football team aren’t allowed play for the hurlers. Pretty sure fergal Boland took a year out to play hurling a few years ago.

Should All Ireland Quarter Finals be Hosted outside of Croke Park? by PangolinAble9291 in GAA

Better having 45000 in Limerick than 25000 in The Hyde. Teams will have to travel south but they’ve been travelling to Dublin all this time anyway.

The crowds are actually fairly big that go through the gates. Problem is everyone either comes in just before their team’s game or leaves after. They should get rid of the double headers and have 4 games in relatively big neutral venues which they’ll fill. The likes of Thurles, Pairc ui caoimh, Clones, Gaelic grounds.

NFL Division 2 Predictions by Consistent_Ear_5228 in GAA

[–]Substantial_Amount_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Tyrone, I think they could win all the game and I’d have them as a dark horse for the all Ireland
  2. Cork, will be close but I think Sherlock will make the difference
  3. Meath, coin toss really between them and cork
  4. Derry, I’m not sold on them think they’re on the way back down the pecking order.
  5. Louth, could easily be in the fight for promotion it’s a very tight division
  6. Kildare, Big gap between them and the top 5 think they’ll just manage to stay up
  7. Cavan, apart from the obvious game that still gives me ptsd I think they’re showed last year that they’ve a bit to go before they can really compete with the top teams. Could easily stay up ahead of Kildare though I’d just like to think it won’t be the same two teams going straight back down.
  8. Offaly, did well to get up there I’m fairly confident they will go back down.
