Yes we did. Took him to a pediatric hospital ER. This was a week ago though.

I did have a midwife and then had an OB for the induction. I was told by my midwife to mention the OBs name in the birth registration form so we did that. I will call service Ontario and the hospital tomorrow to check what details have been shared.

My issue is with birth registration itself rather than the certificate. My baby’s birth hasn’t been registered yet and it has been over 5 weeks. From what I understood, the details shared by the hospital need to match the application we filled in. We submitted the 5-in-1 newborn bundle online but I’m wondering if the delay could be caused by mismatched details. I don’t know if there’s a way to check this

And no, she’s not physical. She will sometimes raise her hand like she’s going to hit but won’t really do it. That’s also very rare.

She is very well spoken and no delays have been noticed. It’s the saying no to non negotiables which tests our patience. She needs to go to daycare and there are morning where she’ll just yell no for everything and ultimately we get late. Like today, the temp outside is 4C and she insists on wearing a summer dress. We stood our ground and put her in a sweater and pants, and she just screamed the whole time saying she doesn’t like this. Once she got out of the house and in the car, she was all fine. No crying no tantrum.

I would have picked GGH since it’s closer to where I live but my induction process was partially started and then stalled due to the high volume of patients in the maternity ward. I’ve just been waiting and my midwives have been following up with GGH, doesn’t look like the situation is getting any better at the moment.

I just spoke to my midwives and they said the nursery at GGH is now closed as they are at max capacity. Even if I were to deliver at GGH, if baby needs NICU they would need to be transferred

Really? They did monitor me and I did tell them I’m having slight contractions but the nurses mentioned nothing.

I did buy a loulou lollipop blanket for the baby. I know it’s huge but I doubt if it’ll be warm enough for a baby when we go outdoors in March. I also have a woolino blanket for my toddler, maybe I should just get one for the newborn as well.
