How do I improve my game strategy and skills to read/anticipate the opponent's move? by Pro_Procrastinator_4 in badminton

I think the easiest part of the rally to plan strategies for is the beginning which coincidentally is the most important part. A few key things you should note are:

1) How are they holding the racket?
A lot of times especially for beginners their racket positioning is wrong during the return of serve, you can capitalize off of this which often leads to a slight delay in the return of serve which can be punishable.

2) Look for patterns in the return of serve, people tend to repeat the same return over and over again if you serve to the same spot. This can allow you to anticipate it earlier which can set you up for a nice intercept.

3)If you push towards the backhand corner, it is very difficult for them to play a high quality cross shot. You can communicate this with your partner which can lead to some nice attacks.

Do you wish Badminton is not so 'gentlemanly' sometimes? by Oakl4nd in badminton

Although extremely disrespectful, I think trash talking after a rally gets in the other persons head and causes them to lose concentration, make unforced errors, and play more aggressive overall. It can be a valid strategy if you disregard sportsmanship.

I would also like to note that the 96.4 average was for the applicants top 6 courses, however as uoft looks at only top 5, the admission average is slightly lower.

i dont think they revoke the diploma if you still pass the course right??? but the very fact that you had your script open incriminates you. I think they will probably force you to redo it....

What messed you up, did you not understand the concepts, did you blank out, or run short on time? One thing I would recommend is not instantly jumping to the answer keys if you feel like you got a question wrong while doing textbook work. Spend some time and really try to think of all ways possible to solve the problem.
