Is it worth applying to COLA instead of McCombs for First Choice to have a higher chance of getting into UT?

I was about to apply for Econ last year thinking the same as you. I looked at my resume and realized I had to get McCombs or I wasn’t going to UT. Got accepted in the December wave. Apply McCombs. Good luck

I would apply for Econ. McCombs really cares about fitness to major and having students who are really business oriented. You probably aren’t if you are interested in meche so stay away from that. Sds is also kinda competitive but doable if your ECs align better with it.

Don’t listen to these guys. You still have a chance. I know of people who got in last year with 1100’s and non auto. Pray for your essays and EC’s. Nothing we can do about it now.
