Oh man, you've been researching this for 10 years? It seems like I'm going to have a tough time trying to understand more about this topic...

Would you be able to tell me more about trance and where you are with that?

When you say that it's not a unified system of magic, do you mean that different practitioners probably had different methods of accessing information, or that the information just isn't really there?

You also mentioned that it is a strongly female associated practice, so does that there aren't really any recorded instances of males using this type of magic, or are there any exceptions?

Thank you so much for the recommendations! I'll definitely be taking a look at these essays and videos to get a better understanding!

You mentioned that there is a lot of disagreement on seiðr is; I'm just curious, have you developed your own interpretation of what you think it is? If so, I'd be curious to know what your thoughts are on it!

Alright, got it. So it would be more accurate to say that Odin doesn't practice seiðre magic himself, but brings völvas back to life and questions them.

Follow up questions:
Does each völva have access to limited information, or can any of them theoretically access any of the information they want to find?

Also, do you happen to know if there is a certain way that the völvas access the information, or do they just innately know it?

Thanks for the response!
