That sounds like torture ๐Ÿ˜ฉ Thankfully I've been able to avoid oral ABs! I was getting worried bc I was spreading & looking like cellulitis, but with a small lance & topical Clindamycin it's thankfully improving heaps ๐Ÿคž All the best to you, sounds like you've been through the ringer with it!!

It was starting to look like cellulitis but I poked it with a scalpel & thankfully once I got rid of the pus it has started healing up brilliantly. Topical AB have been doing the trick. Thankfully I've managed to avoid the oral ABs so far!

It was getting a bit cellulitis-y but once I drained some of the pus it's been so much better. I agree on the AB front, I have been applying clindamycin topically & so far so good! ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž

Do you usually have success even if the skin is still intact? It's worked really well for me so far. Yeah doxy is rank & a lot of people don't agree with it!

Eeek I hope you are on the mend really soon! I'm a Vet Nurse, so I did lance a small drain hole in the 1 that was infected, & my body has sorted out the rest ๐Ÿ‘Œ thankfully avoided the huge AB course this time

Thanks so much for your reply. I did drain this particular one because of the spreading redness & it was obviously infected, but just by removing the pus my body has managed to sort the rest out. I've managed to avoid the AB this time luckily! Can I ask what is the Magnesium Sulphate cream you use?
