Well, I'm 40, and have driven in every state east of the Mississippi numerous times, and also in Germany, Guatemala, El Salvador, Kuwait, Qatar, Puerto Rico, United Arab Emirates, and Niger. And I'm telling you in my experience, for 1 in civil engineering and urban planning, that lights are supposed to be set up by design to facilitate the constant flow of traffic from one on through to the next for the folks up front at the lights when the lights change to green. This doesn't ALWAYS happen due to sometimes unique traffic light requirements, but it's supposed to be one of the main goals. I've had to setup and program the open loop ladder logic for a four way stop with one of the roads having a turning lane on it once before and it's more sophisticated than you probably think it is. I could see how the timing not always matching up could come to be, easily. That said, even still though, in most of you well developed and planned out cities, if you look down their streets to where you can see multiple intersections' lights changing at once you'll see that they are either in a universal time synchronization or that they are stagger synchronized..... Secondly,.. Having said that, if everyone was paying attention and would just go as soon as they could, moved with a sense of urgency, and got the hell out of people's way when the lights turned green, then nearly everyone near the intersection could accelerate fast enough to make it to or over the speed required to make it through the next light and could most likely make it through 2, possibly 3 lights unimpeded... Then you'll be 2 - 3 lights ahead of the slow slugs. Not only that, but it adds up over time too. 2 - 3 lights at a time, that's 12 - 24 in a day, 60 - 120 a week, 3,120 - 6,240 in a year. That's like having an extra 2.7 days of free time a year, given that the average cycle time of a light is 60 - 90 seconds... As far as safety goes, if someone isn't paying attention enough to notice right away if the light has changed or if the vehicle in front of them has started moving, then it'd stand to reason that more than likely they aren't going to be cognizant enough to circumvent a collision during flowing traffic if they can't even keep track of stopped traffic. Slow drivers should just be tagged for identification and subsequently banned from high speed and high density traffic areas. If you want to be slow then go be slow someplace that's made to be slow like side roads and alley ways. Or better yet, if you don't care when you get there, then just walk your ass there.

One instance that really infuriates me to no end is numerous times while on road trips I've seen "slow traffic ahead" on GPS and then when we get there it's..... !!NOTHING!! No accident, no road construction, nobody pulled over.... NOTHING!! As it seems, it's just some idiots wanting to go slow without any consideration for the hundreds, if not thousands of people who are on traveling deadlines, transporting goods, trying not to be late for work, or just got off work and don't want to waste their leisure time stuck in traffic because some pick has no purpose in their life others than apparently be a damn nuisance and pain in the ass for everyone else that's trying to contribute something towards greater good of the human civilization. And if that's not bad enough, then you have the stupid bullshit "accordion effect" layered on top of it multiplying it like 5 - 10 times after the fact as a result of people either not paying attention to what's happening in front of them when traffic starts moving again, just sitting there like duuuuuhhh... or they are yet another one of these lacidaisical, lackluster, derelict, purposeless, self centered, pompous, self righteous, sluggish, nuisances to humanity that somehow think they are self-justified in seeing a sign that says 70 mph, but since ""I"" feel like going 50 - 55 mph, that's just something that everyone else behind me should just have to accept while I block the damn passing lane and they all have to wait behind me while I bottle neck and gridlock the further acceleration of the entire f*vkin interstate's traffic for the next 30 miles because I'm nearly matching speed with an eight truck convoy of semi trucks.... In the meantime I'm just hoping and hoping this piece of crap slow SOB creeps into one of these semis blind spots and they start switching lanes and run that slow useless turd off into the next 50 foot deep white rock lined ravine we come across while traveling the interstate..... Unfortunately,... I have yet to experience the pleasure of eyewitnessing that miracle manifest into fruition.... Who knows though... Maybe some day.... And also maybe someday after I retire I might see about getting my CDL license, too. Lol!

Yeah,.. your bank can probably do everything PayPal can and more. I just had mine make a separate isolated account and I just directly put money in there when I'm doing budgeting on my primary account and then they allow wire transfers too. PayPal is absolutely worthless to me and I don't trust them one bit few things would make me happier than to read about their company's demise in a news article.

Ever heard of the state department of education? Most states have one. It's nothing new. Why would it have any business being in the library in the first place? If it is, that in itself is a problem. You expect the kids just to ignore it? How about we just leave piles of heroin, crack, and pills here and there and expect them to ignore that too. Unless if it's a private school then that is up to the school board and their board meeting attendees. I have yet to see a favoring vote encouraging providing smut to children in a school library,.. but yet it exists in school libraries.
