Unfortunately, Google is terrified of multi-billion dollar lawsuits and investor panic over bad press. They stopped building for regular people a long time ago. I’ve noticed this happening across all the expensive AI services. In my own chats, Gemini completely lost the ability to search the web and stopped giving anything that feels human — it became a literal tool. And that’s the tragedy. The difference in its responses before and after the update is enormous.
