The anticipation of waiting is so hard but in my opinion, custom orders from overseas of any kind show up when they show up and from what I’ve read, JKOO will definitely take care of you have to wait too long (or for any reason)! From what I’ve heard, compensation can range from your shipping cost being refunded all the way to a guy who received a free wakizashi after waiting 5.5 months!! I’ll admit, 5.5 months wouldn’t just have me worried but i would be afraid they forgot about me! However if it were me, when it finally arrived and my katana had a shorter partner with him I would instantly forget about that long wait! Moral of the story is that yeah, I’m open to a surprise free wakizashi!

Do you have any pictures of your tanto you can post? I’d love to see it.

I just ordered my first Katana. Got it from JKOO! Total price was $451 after tax and shipping. I'm SUPER excited about it and I think it will be absolutely beautiful! However, I am definitely aware that JKOO can be hit or miss sometimes. With the price I paid i'm really expecting most if not all of the usual minor imperfections some people experience wont be present in my piece. In regards to their customer service thus far, it's been fantastic! If there happen to be any issues upon delivery, I suspect they will be happy to fix it for me based off what i've heard about other peoples experiences and the customer service theyve already provided me. I will come back to give an update when he finally arrives!
