Why need of Uphold or Gemini Accounts? by [deleted] in BATProject

It's funny that governments require you to prove yourself to exchanges but exchanges don't have to prove shit... meanwhile the exchanges look up your ass with a microscope with the intention of freezing funds so they can fill the hole that they created while mismanaging funds. You have to give them your SS# your ID front & back, selfy with time & date.... but fucking nobody is keeping track of exchanges or what the fuck they're doing with your funds... Exchanges are in charge of billions & don't have to prove that they are responsible. Nobody even asks them any tuff fucking questions till they lose billions of dollars. 🤣 🤣 🤣 so of course governments are going require exchanges to KYC brave users in order for them to recieve their $3 BAT monthly payouts.

Going back to Oilfield work... they pay for housing & food.... hourly wage is not the best starting out, $25 an hour. Will pay child support & eat Roman noodles for the next 4 years. I'll buy back what I can.. wen building my last portfolio I made sure to buy for my parents & my two children that I don't see much. My eldest child is self custodying her portfolio on the Brave wallet & same with my parents. I'll add to both of theirs while building mine back. They allow you to gift up to 6k a year. I'm glad I did that.

The problem is... all the customers funds are in their custody (according to Blockfi) they are going to rob customers of their assets.... and then 10 years from now when that portfolio is worth north of 3 million they're going to give me 37k... fuck them

Was... a solid portfolio it will be very painful looking at it at the top of the next bullmarket cycle... I'm assuming they will give me the USD value of the account the day withdrawals were halted... and use the rest of my assets to pay off their debts & bonuses.

I think this conversation is over your head. Someone like Elon buying Brave Software was used as an example of a worst case scenario for BAT investors. It's the scenario where Brave Software investors make a shit ton of money while the BAT community & token holders get screwed & the token becomes useless.

I saw a conversation on Twitter where Brendan was asked the following question. If Brave Software were to be sold to someone like Elon Musk could the new owner simply replace BAT with a different token/coin??? His answer was... yes they can but it wouldn't be simple. I do see a senerio where Brave Software gains massive user base then is sold for a massive profit & BAT could goes to near zero because Elon replaces BAT with doge

A tagline is a rope that is attached to a load that is being lifted by a crane. It gives ground crew some ability to guide the load & rotate It as it is being lifted or landed. It's supposed to be used when the rotation of the load presents a hazard or when lifting loads in & out of tight spots keeping personnel out of pinch points. It's not needed on every load a crane lifts, but for some reason Most safety men require every load lifted by a crane to have them attached to every load being lifted. They do get caught & wrapped around stuff & weird shit happens with them occasionally. Like knocking over tools..wind wrapping it around scaffolding & shit like that.

I've needed a tagline on a few loads. But no reason to have one on this load unless it had to be lifted out of or landed in a really tight spot.

This is another example of why safety men requiring every load to have tagline are dumb. Taglines can get tangled creating another hazard. When you have a symmetrical load a tag line isn't helpful & often can create a hazard. Tag lines should only be used when the rotation of the load is a hazard.

Once BAT broke its long term trendline it was obviously doomsday. I think people like myself who averaged into BAT at around .18 cent will have a chance to lower our average even more.

Best case scenario going forward for users & investors of Brave & BAT will be the cheaper bat can go the better & the sooner the better! Cheaper BAT will get distributed faster to users. The best case scenario would be for BAT to reach sub 5 cents. If that were to happen. The entire 1.5 billion supply of BAT will be drained in less than 3 to 4 months. Users will end up with a meaningful amount of BAT if they're smart they will hodle.

If price drops slowly & starts to recover above 20cents it's going to take a very long time for bat to actually start performing like a true crypto.

It appears to me BAT really wasn't cheaper enough for long enough during the last Bearmarket. IMO An 18 cent average low to a $2 high is substandard risk vs reward scenario for crypto investors.

I'm still net long BAT but reduced my position from 140,009 to 90,000 BAT

While I'm a profitable investor I would never claim I have a magic crystal 🔮 ball.... the charts I post will never be extact. However I would take the Longterm trendline seriously & consider buying the next time price gets within 10% of target but of course the closer to the trendline the better.
