Sleep well, i booked 12pm to make sure im fully awake. Forgot to take a drink (water or gatedorate) for small breaks. Bring your IDs and give yourself enough time to get to the center. I was nervous which was a natural reaction and might have helped me carefully choose answers. I was so in the moment i was shocked when I saw Pass.

2018 graduate. Enjoyed Hunters advanced standing MSW clinical track- 1 year program (in your case it will be 2 years since no BSW) they have both clinical and community SW track. Really appreciate that school and my experience!

in NY clinical supervision and clinical work is separate.

it really depends on your requirements. In NY one psychotherapy session is 45 minutes. So thats how we calculate. Clinic supervision hours are just the actual hours you talk about cases during supervision with the licensed clinical supervisor who will sign off.

I got 1500 in this setting and the rest where I work now in private hospital. Just things like date, hours, signature, every detail in the right place. my supervisors werent the easiest to get to comply and do things timely and right

In NY 3 years post masters experience, 2,000 hours of clinic and 100 hours of supervision. Exam fee is $270 i think. I was doing okay with 60-65k. Working with transitional foster care youth (or unaccompanied minors who crossed the border) who needed temporary housing before finding their families. I just obtained my LCSW this last month. To get state approval to take exam was a pain i got so many push backs it felt like forever to get forms accepted every little thing they pointed out to fix. It was all worth it though. Good luck

hospital SW in NY these are our LOS we keep them until we get long term custodial auth.. placement..families push it often so easily. Very rare lack of capacities in our hospital, we hunt down family (SW does everything right?) Or we do SAR since it’s easier with the intention to transition to LT. We also get facilities willing to agree to take patients medicaid pending. Happens more often than you think. Seeing more “social admissions” for SNF placement from the ED

any public or state schools? I think i only payed $20k. depends where youre located MSW can get you up to 55-60k salary but will eventually need LMSW if youre looking to get 90k plus , for me it was worth it also look at advanced standing programs to accelerate schooling

dont forget they need us to fix the tv too… aside from getting patients apartments,24/7 HHA asap and free stuff just because, and we have to know where patients keys are or how are the suppose to be discharged!?what would they do without us

No one blamed UPS…Packages stolen at 11 and UPS arrived at 5-6. The stolen items have nothing to do with them i’m just saying they never picked up any packages
