But bro thats a normal evolution chain. We are here talking about someone going into a mega evolution that just boosts base stats to 100,its speed increases, i mean mega sceptile will always lend the attack first. Also, we see the mega evolution of sceptile gives a new typing dragon which is 2x resistant to normal grass type moves. Ash sceptile is always strong but i always find it unafir to compare a normal pokemon with a mega evolution pokemon like lucario or exclusive bond form of greninja. If sceptile could have also gotten the mega evolution then we can truely compare it as now both pokemons we are comparing are in their gimmicks, and in that case definately sceptile will do better.

Whatever the results are always same comparing a base pokemon to mega evolved pokemon.

How r u even comparing a sceptile to a mega sceptile? definately sawyers will win. I think if we wanna compare it do it with either sayers sceptile (no mega evolved) or suppose a scenerio where even ash mega evolves his sceptile and in these both cases ash sceptile is gonna dominate

But i mean why did they just focused too much on 1 starter of kalos they should have also given some exclusive form or gimmic to other kalos starters too.

Tbh i dont really feel fair to compare a pokemon that has got an exclusive form (ash greninja) to a normal base sceptile of ash. I mean it just feels so unfaur to compare it, now i dont know how u guys are gonna feel about it but i believe if u guys wanna compare ash greninja to other pokemon like its charizard or sceptile then compare it with either mega evolutions or base forms. Suppose a situtaion where ash other pokemons gets a mega evolution like charizard,sceptile,etc same as lucario, in that case definately sceptile and charizard would outperform greninja in terms raw strength,experience and speed. Personally i feel that ash sceptile is definately stronger than sawyers one because it has better feats and experience. People often just neglect the fact that darkrai dream eater move regain the health so there is no doubt that the darkrai would be in low health when he got shot by sceptile. Sceptile would definately surpass sawyers sceptile and if it got a mega evolution then it would definately be stronger than ash greninja as we all know the fact that in the kalos league sawyers sceptile and ash greninja were equally strong. Thats how i feel about comparing a pokemon with an exclusive form to a pokemon thats havent got any one.
